- green pill, you die, reapers leave, mass relay blows up, galactic civilization ends

Guys, try to remember what you were like after you first finished it. Mine was: "huh? did I do something wrong? why is Shepard dead?, hmm best go back and choose what I wanted to: Destroy, that outta be better" I went back, got the same ending and that was when I started thinking about everything else that was wrong. I dunno about you guys but it took me a while to see everything more clearly.

Hm, I remember being mired in confusion. I had all these questions I wanted to ask the Starchild, but couldn't, especially concerning what consequences my choice would have. I chose destroy, and then felt really bad about killing EDI and all the geth. When the Normandy crashed, I was baffled by Joker running away, then momentarily relieved to see they were alright, then angry that they abandoned me (or more angry about the apparent character break). Then I looked up the other endings to see where I'd gone wrong only to see that they were all the same. That's when I started to feel angry. The post-credits scene ultimately felt like an insult to injury.

Liara will NOT give birth to humans or any other non-Asari.   Any ending with Liara means a new planet populated by Asari.  LOL!

Exactly! Which is why the human male grandfather and grandson at the end really made no sense. It should have been an Asari planet.

Remember people this isn't a chatroom to talk about some guy's livestream. We don't want the thread closed for going off topic.

So talk about his livestream, just add in a comment about how the endings sucked or something. ;)

He enjoyed the moment, that's a good thing, mine ended the moment the credits rolled and I just sat there feeling empty.

So is his channel a continuous livestream or something ? I've never heard of him before today.

On the endings, maybe Bioware is cooking up something huge for just the end-game missions. I expected death and sacrifice, but not what was shown. Before getting all deep into the theories here on the forums, I believed it to be a hallucination or dream of some sort.

Indoctrination came to my mind during arrival, and reading the books. Shepard does spend loads of time with Reaper devices.

My boyfriend and I just watched the ending together just now on, and he thought it made perfect sense (he's never played ME, but he's watched me play occasionally, so he has some grasp of the game). So I told him that the ending just made sense cause he just had a Shepard that fit that story and I started telling him about all the plotholes there was in the ending, and for some odd reason, he started defending the ending -_-

...And now we're arguing over ME3.

And I still insist that I'm right.

well im biased so just the plotholes alone would make you right :P
cant forget the no closure and lack of choice, i can respect his opinion/defending of the ending but i cant agree with it

Have to agree with you there, DJBare. I'm almost envious of his relatively pleasant experience with the ending. I remember feeling sick, like literally sick in the stomach.

Normally I have a high after games - ME1, when Shepard arises from the rubble with that smile on her face, ME2 when I told TIM to shove it and all my team were alive.

ME3?  Nothing but a hollow shell of a gamer that spent the next day crying soulessly.

A game should not make me feel like that!

I really don't like how they worded that poll. Maybe the first choice should be "Yes, because the ending is a disservice to the franchise and doesn't make sense in the Mass Effect universe. Not that they should give in to what the players want. The players only are demanding it because it was what we were led to believe we would be getting: some choice in how our story ends. You know, that everything we had been doing for the past five years in the game mattered...

That vote has been deliberatly laid out to break up the votes for change, the last vote will always appear higher.

Agree with this! That empty feeling as I stared at the credits... Unforgivable! Please give us a true ending to a great game!

The vote has been laid out to break up the vote for "change"; it's a tactic I've seen used many times on these boards.
