If you read between the lines in that poll:

42.1% are in favor of changing the endings.

17.37% are neutral.

40.54% are against the change.

And this is before the BSN steamrolls that thing. Still a majority.

This poll is very biased, because they clearly offer at least 3 options for those who are holding the line and only one for those who oppose it, so we get scattered and they get all together in one answer...<_<

I find it very strange that there are people trying very hard to oppose us. Why should it matter to them whether or not we get our alternate ending? If they want the ending the way it is, they are free to it.

Because people are petty, foolish and believe they know better than anyone else about what's right and what's wrong. And they most love to speak from a high horse before coming down and looking at what the actual problem is

The full "Yes" answer is getting some steam behind it on the FAQ website. We're up to 29% now, from the 28.4% we were at not long ago. Keep up the good work guys, and hold the line =D

Add up the numbers from those three options though. And we're STILL the majority

Very true. But those of their viewers who actually decide to add up the numbers will see the truth. I'm sure we'll manage to get a lot more votes on our side anyway.

Blind opoosition, they don't want to hear why we are doing this, they just want to oppose us because our opinions differ.

Seriously though people, spread the word around about the poll, It'll only be up and front for 24 hours, so we just need to keep people coming in that long to get the numbers evened out. THEN after it fades away the people who haven't played the game will stop voting. Because they won't really be looking for it

There was a pretty decent fan music video using this song back in the ME1 times - I still remember it opened with the scene from the "Noveria Choice" trailer.

The problem is that we have to register and not everyone is willing to do it. Plus it might be a biased pool, so it's hard to be sure if the results are honest.

When people during the peak day see the poll I wonder what the results will be.

Conspiracy haha, Linkin Park knew this would happen years in advance xD

In regards to asking why people who were satisfied with the ending as it is speaking out against those of us who were not, I have just one thing to say. People feel obligated to voice their opinions if other people are also voicing their opinions. We all voiced our opinions that the endings of one of the greatest series of games that we have ever played was awful, and we explained our reasoning behind that. Those who did not share our same feelings still felt like expressing their opinions so they spoke out in their way, jumping on the bandwagon that we're arrogant and entitled. It's terrible, but I'd say it's kind of a human nature thing =/

Hold the Line!

An inspiring piece of advice given to me by my professor:

"Never go outside of the story for an explanation. If it's not in the story, it's not in the story."

That's how I view the Indoctrination theory. I feel like people are grasping at straws, trying desperately to reconcile in their minds what actually happened. They'd rather have it be that Shepard just dreamed the whole thing, instead of it be fact.

Vote here soldiers.
We are losing on this front.

The last option ''Absolutely not, it's their story, and they decide how it ends '' Absolutely denies the very essence of Mass Effect, that WE ARE OUR OWN story, we make OUR choices and OUR actions.

Schadenfreude is one reason.

Passionate comments from 'aspiring game designers' are probably made on twitter in order to 'get noticed' by someone from BioWare.

Other people think that to be free, is to have the liberty to do anything, as long as you can get away with it; so they probably think of us as people who hate freedom, and ...you see what I'm hinting at, right? I mean, that IGN guy's twitter alias is: 'no taxation'.

As someone's already mentioned, the entire poll is horribly worded. You can't vote yes without painting yourself with their idea of whining and entitlement.
