Dr. Ray's actual statement does concern me, though. If Bioware comes out in April and announces 'expansion' dlc that doesn't actually change anything, just defends the current endings, I'm worried we'll either A. roll over and take it, or B. not roll over and then be labeled as impossible to please by the gaming press.
This. What we would have to do is to be persistant. We would have to always give feedback on the appropirate thread, so please make it constructive.
I guess that there is the slight chance that people will actually start to rebel again, but we would really have to put some work into it.
Give them constructive critic, write in thousands what we have told them until now. They cannot ignore it or defend it with "Artistic freedom". It is simple: "Even if ME is an art, it is a picture made for the customer. And if the customer, or the majority of them doesn't like it, it must be changed."
I would not give so much on the Poll there. It is still 600 against 51.000 on facebook. The polls in the boards here speak numbers. Propably one person who has devoted his time lately to always click "No", or a faked Poll, constructed to always raise a vote when a certain option is choosen.
Yeah - so far as feedback goes, I feel we've been just about as clear as we can be. My gut tells me it's going to come down to resources and pride when they decide want to actually change. Then again, I could be reading into Dr. Ray's statement too hard - I hope. He could just be saying what was deemed the most comforting (closure and clarity). But we'll see, I guess. And until then, we'll hold the line. And we can't shut up.
