Finished Mass Effect 3 last night, the choice in endings was pretty poor. The game was great, the ending wasn't. The best ending to any game in my mind is Portal 2 followed closely by Mass Effect 2.

i probably would have been good with what i got, had my team not suddenly transmorgified to the normandy and had got a chance to see some of the battle with cut scenes that showed my work over 3 games paying off....(rachnii fleet/army anybody?)

As awful as the endings are, I do laugh every time I see him. Among all of the (imo) bad decisions BW/EA has made, this "boss" fight still makes me chuckle.

The writer is right….If this was about artistic integrity they would leave the brilliant endings the way they are. I hate it when there is nothing wrong with a item they change it cause a bunch of whiny fat ****s living in their moms basement. You all need to get a life.
I have played all three games and I loved them. the endings were perfect and only a fool didn’t see them coming.

I don't know about you guys but I stopped paying attention to what gaming sites/mags have said a long time ago. They smell of paid-off reviews, best reviews come from gaming forums by fans, yes you have to pick through them but its the best option.
Saying that, I would say that comments like the above from IGN are best ignored, they have forgotten what it means to operate as true journalists and are trying to harm the movement.

Best to hold tight and make sure no one forgets what really matters.

I am already waiting for Risen 2. I played Risen one and it was a really good game that let me roleplay and enjoy myself, both at the same time. It the sequel is anywhere near the first, it will be a good game. Plus we also have Ubisoft Assassin's Creed 3 around the corner, plus Diablo 3, Two Worlds 2 just released and expansion a couple of months back and so on.

In other words, there are plenty of good and great games around for us to pick one. If bioware doesn't deliver in time (or at all) we will just move on to other games and forget about Mass Effect and BIOWARE altogether...

I to am really struggling to play anything, the barriers have gone up and i cant connect to the games.
It would seem i am suffering from sycological trauma and the only way to heal it would be for bioware to supply me with an ending were shep wins, and yes i do want the so called disney ending option as well as a bittersweet one. i would not be happy with a your so dumb we shall explane it to you dlc, i get it we cant win end of game

i own my house, i have a hot wife, two kids a full time job and real life struggles....

i don't need my video games (my relaxation method of choice, besides weight lifting and working out as i'm about 5-9 and 165, cut very nicely thanks!) to be as depressing and dreary as real life or hard as eff to figure out

If I remember correctly, it is by the month's ending...

I hope they enjoy this ending as much as we enjoyed ME3.
