Yes, it's fake.
Yeah, Chris Priestly confirmed it was fake here on the BSN. Though man, 2010 pages in this thread alone. PAGES.

Before I joined the movement I basically headcannoned things to get myself through the depression (which I never thought I would have to do for a game like Mass Effect). I have a "golden" ending in my head that I'm sure I'll never get to experience, even if they do change the endings. I'm sure there are some of you out there who have done the same in the simple desire of keeping the hope alive. So my question is this: in a perfect ending, or maybe even not, what is your Commander Shepard doing at this moment? Is (s)he drinking cocktails on a beach with Garrus? Is (s)he dead and being mourned by the rest? Is (s)he making babies with Liara?
In my headcanon where the Mass Relays did not all go "kabloom", my Shepard is currently recuperating in a Salarian medical facility (and hating every minute of being there while the rest of the galaxy begins the daunting process of rebuilding) because being shot by Harbinger looks like it kind of hurt. I'm not sure and chances are I'm wrong, but I think out of all the races, the Salarians weren't hit quite as hard. I remember someone mentioning a lot of human refugees going to Salarian worlds (would also make sense since they can eat the same food). After that he'll respectfully resign from the Alliance military and begin with the rebuilding process on Earth. He wants to get his hands dirty and, after spending so much time destroying/killing so many things in the wish for survival, he wants to try his hand at building and creating something new.
I'm not sure if this is considered too off topic and if so, I apologize and request that you all respectfully ignore it. If not, then tell me what your Shepards are doing in your headcanon.
Hold the line.

I'm a bestselling writer, having sold thirty novels. I'm drafting one at the moment. Of those thirty, seventeen have been published. The other thirteen are in various stages of production or under contract, as I have deals slotted into 2016. By any definition, I am a successful human being.
I play Bioware games for the story... and because they are fun. Until the end of ME3, I had been a loyal fan, despite the hiccup of DA2. But there is no excuse for the wretched writing and storytelling displayed in that black hole of an illogical trainwreck. If they have no more care for their IP than this, then I choose not to spend my disposal income with them.

(Spiegel is one of the biggest weekly newspapers in germany)
Their opinion is that Muzyka's statement really means nothing and is just used to advertise future DLCs. Although a lot of gaming sites now think Bioware is going to change the ending, Muzyka didn't say anything new, at least in the opinion of the author.

Ray asked for trust. He had that once. No, Bioware and EA has to earn that back for the disharmony caused to me and mine. I am interested to see what they do. I am open to receive closure. But I do not trust they will provide it as they should.
Until I see what they do and how they handle this - I will hold the line.

Its almost funny to me.
They trained us for years since ME1 that choises matter and have consequenses,
and after taking away any meaningfull choise at the end of the game, BW left us with one choise, to come here and ask for a better ending ME3 deserves.
Well, we learned choises matter. Chickens come home to roost

In a hospital bed, Liara at his side. Mass relays intact.
That's all I want, Bioware.

Is it just me, or did those top numbers in the gamefaq vote drop? note I've not been keeping a close eye on it.
www.gamefaqs.com/poll/index.html
"Yes, if it's what the users want, they should get it"
I think "the consumers should get, what they were told the would get" would be more appropriate
and the majority of the voters thinks endings should be changed (if you take the first three answers as a positive)

The article all in all only sums up what we already know, but there are two part, which are thought provoking...
The title means: Not much hope for frustrated Mass Effect 3 players
And the last part of the article says:
This dosn´t sound as if Bioware reacts on fan critics, but uses the critic to solicit commercial addons (aka DLC).
This even fits to how most of the critics sound like: The game is superb, just the ending is bad. Advising against buying the game doesn´t sound like this. And that´s what Bioware knows.
(I hope I translated it correctly, not being a native english speaker, again I had to look for many words on dict leo)
