I think it's better that folk play through to the end for perspective, I was not going to purchase ME3, but decided that if I really wanted to voice my opinion then I needed the perspective to do so.

Someone's gaming the poll. It's illegitimate.

I feel like this is a poll geared more for people who haven't even played the game, which makes it quite irrelevant. You don't ask Canadians who the US president should be and then tout that as legitimate, would you? It would be interesting to see the percentages of respondents who had actually beated ME3. I doubt half have even played it.

I just saw that the german news magazine "Der Spiegel" put an article about the endings online

The article all in all only sums up what we already know, but there are two part, which are thought provoking...

The title means: Not much hope for frustrated Mass Effect 3 players

And the last part of the article says:

This dosn´t sound as if Bioware reacts on fan critics, but uses the critic to solicit commercial addons (aka DLC).
This even fits to how most of the critics sound like: The game is superb, just the ending is bad. Advising against buying the game doesn´t sound like this. And that´s what Bioware knows.

(I hope I translated it correctly, not being a native english speaker, again I had to look for many words on dict leo)

Your translation's good, last sentence is more like 'and Bioware knows this too', but that's just nitpicky.

True, since it's the "Poll of the day" many people who do not actually care at all will still cast their votes.

I don't see Shepard on a beach with Garrus.

There was so much destruction.
 
I see shepard heavyly wunded walking down a road and all of his crewmembers helping hurt people or cover dead. I see people searching the ruins for loved ones or food. But I also see Kaidan (LI) how he holds Shepard and helps him walk.
Maybe they smile toward each other and walk off toward a medical tranport (the cam should pan around them and then expand into a total view).
There can be more afterwards or maybe Text what happens to your crew. And some Infos about how the single races get a long - It could be brief.

Speaking for myself, I must admit to harbouring a secret desire for a happier ending - I know that the chances are very slim of getting anything like that, and I'm OK with it, but yeah, it'd be nice to see something like Shep and Garrus kicking back at some beach bar, with Kasumi actually paying for the next round
