I assume most of us here will see this coming and avoid the obvious scam, but just to be safe, I wanted to give folks a heads up if they haven't seen it yet.

I suppose an "old gamer" would be someone who likes the conventional good, neutral and bad ending options? That's what the people at IGN would have you think, anyway. Some of our more vocal critics have said that those who want their "normal" game endings are stuck in the past and we should learn to appreciate the mind warp (seriously wanted to use another word there, but let's keep it civil) that was ME3's ending.
It seems like we began the story by telling us about the Starfleet, the Federation, the Kligons, Vulcans, and all the other races in the StarTrek universe, and how you united them all to fight the BORG, only to see in the ending, that none of it mattered, because the Dark Lord of the Sith would give you 3 colored choices. Red you kill the borg, but you destroy all the warp tech in the universe and you likely die. Blue you control the Borg by becoming one yourself, and you destroy all the warp tech in the universe. Green you merge every single living creature with the Borg, meaning they become Borg, and you still destroy all the warp tech in the universe..
No, no matter what, you destroy everything you were fighting for..

Starchild: I am your father.
Shepard: Wait, what?
Starchild: And you must assemble a fellowship to destroy the one true Reaper.
Shepard: Er... ok.
Starchild: And one cannot simply fly through the Omega-4 Relay.
Shepard: I'm pretty sure I've done that already.
Starchild: You have? Well damn. Okay, what's your favorite colour?

From a guy from Brazil that cant post here:
"During the conversation in Virmire with Sovereign, the Reaper says:
- Your civilization is based on the technology of Mass Relays, our technology. By using it, your society develops along paths we desire. We impose order on the chaos or organic evolution. You exist because we allow it and you'll and because we demand it."
And in the third game the "god-child".
Explain about the technology singularity and how the created always gonna rebel against it creator.
But since, we evolve in Reaper desired paths, it's fault of Reapers that we came to a point of this happens. "
My dear friend, if I were you I would stop while you still have your mind intact. You are trying to make sense of something that is totally void of sense. You are trying to apply logic to an situation that defies logic as we know it..
As i saw in an earlier post, what Bioware did was to equate 2 + 2 = cat. That's how far gone they were when they came up with this ending... Logic holes, plot holes, black holes, everything is in it. And the funniest thing is people that actually believe it makes sense...
So far, only one person I know of actually came up with a good explanation to the ending, based on the nihilist school. His draft was quite long and well reasoned, however, despite the fact that he managed to explain the ending, he still couldn't connect the ending to the rest of the story. That is just plain impossible, and anyone saying otherwise is just deluded..

Thank god I wasn't the only one that thinks this - I literally went after the ending - WTH......that seriously made my head heart......reloaded; played through the other 2.......and said; ok seriously wth?
I know I'm not drunk - only thing it could be comparable is an acid trip.......debatable of a good or bad one at that; its like someone had gotten high on something; reread Alice in Wonderland.......and went HELL YEA......it makes about that much sense.......
It felt like reading Alice in Wonderland when you are high on LSD. That 's what it felt like to me. And worst of it is that the trip is still on going.
LOL no well at least for me - that was far better experence doing that - that ME3's ending

Now to get celebrity endorsement.
Will try for Jack Black.
I happy we managed to Rile all those arrogant Game MAGS who know it all.
I mean IGN is like a defunct dinosaur and stopped being a player for me years ago.

That might not have been the right analogy to use, since Alice in Wonderland was written due to the author's experiences...on drugs.
Then again. If a story written by someone on LSD has a better ending than ME3...<_<

Sadly I used to fit that sterotype... >> Till I dyed my hair teal...
Though I still break out the kilt every so often...
The world would be a better place if there were more red-headed Scotts. Well...okay....I would be happier.

Read a little bit further down that warning and there is this;
Game publishers Bioware are due to release an officially sanctioned alternative ending to the game in April.
Someone, somewhere in Bioware HQ is crying softly into their desk at this point.
Consider that their PR release yesterday was basically intended NOT to commit them to doing anything...but the media has taken it to mean that they ARE committed to providing a new ending. So once again, Biowares PR strategy has backfired...at this point is anyone really surprised?

Too true. I've been working on a second play through and it's really been such a crawl to the point I feel like I'm forcing myself to play. I finally got to right before the last mission last night. As I hit the loading screen the game crashed. I took it as a sign and turned it off.
