Also we as a community must not accept a paid for "fix" we need to send a message that they cannot sell us snake oil. There really is no difference between the statements bioware made pre release and me claiming to have a time traveling delorian for sale both are lies and faud.

I'm ok with a 800pt (10 buck) fix. so long as it has some wrap up missions or something else tied in as well :). I spent 10 bucks on day 1 DLC so no biggie on that front. Long as I can get some closure :)

I'd be willing to pay, too. Hell, I'd be willing to pay a lot for a proper, satisfying ending.

Also, if you haven't checked this thread, I found it very interesting and it basically says what I've been saying all along: "art is fine, but ME3 did not deliver what it promised"

Is it just me, or have things seemed to slow down a bit? This time last week, BSN and Twitter were on fire. Today... not so much. Are we losing steam, or are we just kind of... hibernating until there's news?

Definitly hibernating. At least I am. I have the bad feeling, that my rage will come back soon enough

Returning back after having tons of sleep and tea to keep my energy going. wouldnt suprise me if my horrible experience with the ending got my immune system down so i got this sick in the first place. blah ):

also does anyone still have the link to any of the mass effect chatrooms that popped up here somewhere, guess my forum search-fu is a bit rusty but im bored and cant for the life of me find them anywhere

Holdin´ the line

I think there will be a small lull as we await to see what Bioware is going to do now. They cant just press a button and make update/make a new ending.

This entire process has been interesting, as the last 2 weeks have shown, we are not the vocal minority of gamers with entitlement issues. We are a large group of gamers that just were dissapointed iwth the ending and voiced our opionions.

My concern now is that Bioware will release something... and it will be terrible. I'd like to encourage everyone to tell Bioware exactly what you expect out of an ending. Don't let them get away with "explanation" content that doesn't change/add to the current endings. Let them know that we want real, new endings.

Send them an e-mail (contact@bioware.com), let them know on their Twitter, and mail them another letter!

Hibernating. When they mentioned something yesterday, this was on fire too :?

True enough. It's still all a little... disheartening, though.

Not really.

Many people spent all day just watching this thread for two weeks, so its hardly surprising if they have decided to go outside to remind themselves what the sky looks like. That and, you know, buy food since I assume that most people have regained their appetites by now.

I'd also note that the weather here in the UK has been quite good over the last day or so, and we Brits love going outside and staring at that strange light in the sky, and arguing who replaces the bulb when it goes out....

That's what they WANT you to do! You shouldn't have to BUY the ending of a game separate from the rest of it. But if you let them get away with selling the ending separately you just wait, you'll have to buy the ending for DA3 a month after the game  too.

So I went to class today, and right before taking an exam, I saw a bunch of ME3 posters hanging on the bulleting board...I wanted to cry :crying:

If I failed that test, it was ME3's fault.

And now I'm going back to that building to get one of the poster....

Don't forget that BioWare made the rest of the game as well. Yeah, they stumbled right at the end but now we've got them back on their feet, let's see if they can take us the rest of the way.

In principle, I agree. And if it were any series but Mass Effect, I wouldn't buy it. But I'm just too damned emotionally invested not to pay through the nose for a decent ending.

Call me weak. Call me selfish. Call me shortsighted. That's how it is, I'm afraid.

I was in the mall the other day with some friends and walked by the GameStop. They still have the big broShep carboard cutout for the game right at the front. I noticed that his head was almost broken at the neck. One of the workers was coming in and saw us looking at it and said that people have been taking their frustrations about the game out on the cutout.

I've realised that i've been spending to much time here when the walls on my yard changed its color and i haven't seen anyone painting it. O.o
