Around half (if not more) of the people i see complaining about our movement, seriously have never touched the game, or definitely never played mass effect 1 and 2, or experienced the whole trilogy, why would they comment on something they obviously have no idea over... i guess people just like to voice random opinions, be heard.

65th division reporting, holding the line *takes his Black Widow X off his back and calibrates the range on it* Orders?

I'm not going to lose sleep over the charity.. We got a significant amount of money for them in just over a week. If I'm going to stay angry at everything on the internet I'm going to be miserable the rest of my life haha. Celebrate! We held the line!

Remember, people: now is the time to let Bioware know that we won't be satisfied with anything but new, real, satisfying endings. By this point, they must know that they need to do something. Given the tone of Dr. Muzyka's statement, it may be that they're considering releasing content that tries to explain away the plot holes of the current endings and that gives a little more information about what happens to the crew and the galaxy.

I don't think that's good enough. I want new endings free of plot holes, free of Starchildren, and free of logical contradictions. I want new endings that provide actual closure. I want new endings that allow my Shep to live and reunite with his friends and love interest. I want new endings where Shep fails. I want new endings that leave the mass relays intact. Above all, I want endings that make my choices throughout the trilogy matter.

Anything less is not good enough, and we need to let Bioware know that now, when they are still deciding what to do.

So let them know in this thread. Let them know in the feedback thread. Let them know on Twitter. Let them know by e-mail (contact@bioware.com). Let them know by letter. And, if you haven't yet, vote in this poll.

Self-bump.

I sent a letter. Heh, it's second one. I hope it will help.

I'll be complaining.  They released something blatantly rushed, poorly thought-through and unfinished.   For £65 this is just not good enough. And if I have to pay for them to sort it the hell out, I shall not be pleased.  I wish they'd just give a straight answer instead of all this arsing about.

Honestly, I'm fine with ending the Child's Play drive. Sure, it isn't our fault that people are painting Child's Play as a bad guy for "supporting" us. But the fact is, people are doing that, and it might hurt the charity. And we can't have that.

That's the thing though, they aren't being painted as the bad guys. What this whole drive is about is proving to the world that we aren't just being whiny people, that we care passionately about this matter and most importantly, from a business point of view, we are loaded with money (this is what the companies care about. They want our money) and are willing to toss a bit to one side to prove our point. Giving money to them isn't portraying them badly at all, if anything, it has an effect on Bioware, that they are driving their customers to donate money by supplying them with such a bad ending. They're losing nothing, and they can't get the blame.

Look at it this way: The charity is getting money to help unfortunate children have some happiness in their lives. Do you really think that 1: the charity cares about why this money is being donated, or 2: anyone is going to walk up to these children and say "some kind people were giving money to make you happy, and we're going to send it back". It's for a good cause, and in essence does nothing on their end but help them help kids, while we prejudice removed from our cause. Everybody either wins or doesn't really lose anything, so why should we stop?

Those with organizational abilities: you might want to look at globalgiving.org

There's a very wide array of charities listed there.

It's also possible to make donations 'in someone's honor' on that site. We could donate to any of those in the name of Commander Shepard, and have the website send their receipts/'dedication notes' to a Shepard email address that one of us would run. That way we could also keep track of the amount donated.

"8. New, Better DLC Strategy
All Mass Effect DLC should be released on day one, should be free, and should be distributed on the game disc."

Ahahahahahaha okay THAT WAS FUNNY because we would get a game if they do this <_<

I think these sites mocking us hav missed the point. Also mocking gamers on a gaming swebsite a little short sighted isn't it?

Agreed.

Sad to see the charity being over but we've donated almost $80k to Child's Play.

Hold the line people.

So what do we do now?

Already the threads on the forums are beginning to die down. There are fewer and fewer holding the line, and more just leaving bioware behind them in disgust, but if the movement goes silent, then we will lose because Bioware will correctly ascertain that there really isn't enough outcry to justify changes.

Hold the line son. We will be fine, Threads slowing down doesnt mean we are not here, BW said April, we have all had our sayings, they know what we want, we cant keep spamming them 24/7 anymore, and thats ok. They know they have to come up with something. In the meantime we can just hold the line. And remember we allready got somewhere, it means they are listening, BW would have never changed their opinions if it wasnt for us.

Hold the line.

Agreed, everyone is still going strong and most of us are waiting for Bioware to respond in April. I come on here at least once a day but we all have lives in truth. Still that does not stop any of us from sticking to our guns.

Well said.

Doesn't really help us, remember, people who point finger at us and call us ignorant are the readers of those articles, people that don't even play those kind of games or aren't itnerested in it.

In a nutshell: It caused too many difficulties for them so they asked us to take it down.
