This whole situation to be fair is quite a mess, whether these were the endings they intended or they were (or now are) using the indoctrination theory or were already planning ending/epilogue DLC. I highly doubt they anticipated this kind of response.

I just feel when they release the so called calrfiy patch or DLC it will just be a text box explaining the ending which sucks I know what the ending is. It's sacrfice this cycle so the next cycle don't have to worry about the reapers.

Or in others words this genration make sacrfices for the next sacrfice. unless they change the supernova exploding thing then its just a slow and painful death for most of the galaxy

good job all round guys raising this much media awareness and money is nothing to sneeze at. We have all made an impact as a collective voice. I am impressed that after the first couple of days of outrage that this thread and movement has not just remained civil but has streamlined itself into one basic position. Its not that we want a "happy ending" which the biased gaming media like to portray but the fact that the false advertising and poor quality of the writing is what is stressed. Again be proud that voices of consumers from around the world can and is having an impact

Although it is apparently a fake, I still think the ideas in it are interesting. (The description of how this person would have liked to see the battle in London is especially good: I would have loved to see the species I recruited actually doing something)

Yes. That is exactly what happened. They also mentioned people thinking Child's Play supported the petition and implied those people associated it with some... pretty negative things.

Just to remind everyone, it's a thin line between obsession and activism. We've got what we wanted, Bioware would be committing professional suicide if they went back on it now. Turning on anyone who went against us is the sort of thing you find in countries after a coup takes place. Just because we're being polite doesn't mean we're being civil. Keep that in mind before we decide to turn our collective aggression on anything that so much as looked at us funny or we'll lose the base for everything we've done to this point.

Same, I am trolling more than posting, I'm afraid I might start ranting   Plus trying to stay on topic would make me feel like I was being boring (meaning copying and pasting my posts over and over :/  Although every now and then I will still post that I'm holding the line.  I'm in it until the end (meaning concrete yes we will change the endings or no we will not from Bioware)

Ahh well. There were some things in that other thread that could be considered Bioware/EA bashing, and we wouldn't want the Child's Play charity being negatively impacted from all of this, so willing to assume this was all a coincidence.

Most of the thread was pretty civil, I don't recall people claiming they buy reviews but it was a very long thread.

Nah the guy who started it said we met the goals in his opinion and he wanted a break lol.  He's even leaving BSN for a bit.. probably burnt out, it's hard work doing what he was doing.

Was referring to the 'PR damage control' thread going down.

Was saying if -this- thread goes down after those two other things have...

And again, stating as of right now those two going down so closely to each other are probably just a coincidence.

I have finally got back my desire to play video games thanks to a friend. He more or less forced me to get Tribes: Ascend and I have been having a blast with it.

Doesn't stop me from checking this thread every 1-2 houres tho

I guess, since we finaly got the ball rolling it's been easier to relax a bit, but I'm in this until the end.
