I think we should not expect or want something like that. This is stuff for the prologe text or maybe even for you own imagination and there should still be room for that.

I know. I'm just expecting a Shepard & Normandy Crew reunion scene. I think we deserved that.

They take our souls mortal Kombat style

Aye, fight and you may die. Run, and you'll live... at least a while. And dying in your beds, many years from now, would you be willin' to trade ALL the days, from this day to that, for one chance, just one chance, to come back here and tell our enemies that they may take our threads, but they'll never take... OUR FREEDOM !

I wouldn't go that far; KOTOR 2 was very poorly done and that was evident throughout the game. The graphics, gameplay and story were sub-par to the original KOTOR and the ending was dull as opposed to confusing.

What we've got here is a case of Bio-Ware playing like a star and dropping the ball with 4 seconds left on the clock, whereas KOTOR coudn't even dribble.

Hey I liked that game >_>  But ya it is true that it had a bunch of issues. Granted, which is worse, a game that goes mediocore throughout out the whole game or being a GoTY right till almost the end then just torching itself?

I will never get over ME3 ending. Unless they make a very awesome one, not just an explanation.
The lack of a happier ending makes me not want to play it ever again...

Actually, I hope they start putting "tragedy" on the covers.

I may have to resort to writing a "pick'n'mix" series of fanfic epilogues. Every possible pairing, every possible death/life.

Then wire it all up in some site so you can check boxes of how yours ended and you get a finished document...

That would be cool.

Very well, no babies for anyone.

Hmm... Babies for some, miniature Garrus statues for others.

[crowd cheers and waves miniature Garrus statues]

Garrus statues, yes!!! I'd loved that, it made me so sad that he disappeared (misteriously at that). I mean, even when Shepard died in my playthrough, I was expecting to see my Shepard in the bar in 'heaven' or wherever, and someone asking why she's there every day, and she simply responds "I'm waiting for someone", and then it cuts to a scene where Garrus is somewhere watching over the horizon, Shepard's dog tags in hand. That would have made my day....

Yeah, like KOTOR how Carth comes back to try and talk Revan out of turning to the Dark Side. I know that the ending where you can turn back was cut from the game for time purposes. But even without it, he does come back and dies because he loves her. But in ME3, Kaidan supposedly leaves Shepard's side and goes back to the Normandy. Joker leaving was hard enough to believe, but Kaidan? The "I can't lose you again" Kaidan? Yeah... I can't believe that as cannon.

Exactly my thoughts! The image doesn't lie, Bioware, he was smiling. How do you explain that?!

It wasn't just little plotholes...99% of all the character's actions were...wrong. Just plain wrong. Yes, if you've never played or cared about ME in your life, you'll be fine with the ending, but if you have...

Yeah. 98% of the game was pure Bioware amazing storytelling... but then the end, I have no words for that type of storytelling. Cause like you said, the plotholes it another HUGE thing. But the characters that we have come to care about were just pushed to the side. And the last time we see them (or the few that come out of the downed Normandy), they are smiling cause the sky is blue with no reapers in sight. Yeah... sure. But what about all of the crap that is still happening on Earth? "Take back Earth", remember?

Do you realize how beautiful that is?:crying: Wow I love that. For my MShep I see Garrus shooting bottles with  Shepards N7 tags on the other sniper rifle that lays against a wall next to him. Garrus looking into the Horizon reminiscing of old times.

The ending doesn't fit the game. At all.

Hold the line people, keep it civil and respectful! Bioware has heard our cries and will do something about, lets not let our anger get the best of us. We need to keep this thread going until the very end!

Bioware = Reapers.

They are shutting down mass relays topics and they conquer the galaxy BSN. They harvest every species fans and indoctrinate us. If indoctrinations success everybody will love the current endings.

And they'll start a new cycle.

With Dragon Age III.

I would have at one time said the ending didn't fit Bioware at all, but then Dragon Age 2's ending wasn't the best either. But I kept telling myself that the ending was forced cause they were setting up the third game. ME3's ending was supposed to be the end of Shepard's story. And I guess it did "end", just not in the glorius fashion that it should have. The game was setting up the best ending ever... I'm still waiting on that.

YAY.. My gaming mojo is coming back.. I just got done preordering the new Simcity (that thing looks so cool btw). I'm thinking of doing an ME2/ME3 Renegade run this weekend/next week (already got an ME1 Renegade save so that'll work)... Actually looking forward to it knowing I'll be able to get the new DLC with the endings eventually and complete my epic gaming series \\o/
