Man, this would also have been a good ending to ME3..

Anything would have been better than the current ending...<_<

Ok, maybe not anything, but almost anything. I feel like they made the worst ending possible.

I really hope the plan isn't to build an ME4 on this... I mean, before I finished ME3, I would have jumped for joy at more ME, but if they leave the ending as is (with some clarification of how colored explosions don't hurt people or some such) and then try to sell me an ME4... that's adding even more insult to injury than flashing the "buy DLC" pop-up in my face after the existing "ending"... Maybe if they fix the ending I can go for an ME4 (after I've heard people--not game reviewers--talk about how it is), but otherwise it's just a bad joke. (to me anyway)

Holding the line!

My post seems to have been lost...

Why was the PR thread closed?
and What happened with the Charity Chip In thingy?

Also anything else happen in the last 11 or so hours? (though I am guessing no BW statements or this thread wouldn't be talking about LI babies lol)

that would be grand, if after all this everything works out great a toast or two would be a great way to celebrate.

If they did make a ME4, it would most likely be like DA2: same world, similar problems(Reapers/synthetics) but completely different characters...

Maybe they just wanted an Inception ending: ambiguous

We haven't been talking about babies for 2200+ pages, you know. We've analyzed the real problems with the 'ending' to death; thus many of us are a little tired exchanging essentially the same arguments over and over and over.

Besides, we've already let BW know what it is exactly that we're protesting against: in the suggestions thread, in direct e-mails, and so forth.

No, you're right.  I totally get that.  It just makes me nervous seeing many comments that just say "bioware give me babies!"  I only comment so that we can remember that we have a broader purpose here than everyone shouting out specific, personalized wishes for their endings.

We need to stay representative of the entire group here too.

The PR thread got closed because some people decided to start throwing accusations around and making stuff up.

The charity thing has ended.  The guy who made it said it met the goals he started out with and it was a lot of work for him :)

Omg...your post made me laugh so much here. "Bioware, give me babies!"  LOL

I do want Shenko babies, but I'm happy with a reunion (like probably 99.5% of us)

No no Chuck Norris ending........he's round house kick the god child twice........Once because because its bad........and second time to give Shepard choices to tell it to goto hell.......

If it means an actual choice between good-bittersweet-awful endings or at least a dialogue option along the lines of "I reject your choices and put my faith in the unified galactic fleet"....
then again it would be more :wizard: and we're trying to cut down on that :P

You joking I killed him in the first game :D  Well my Renagade and Paragon did; he might of been cool - but wasn't cool on my ship........

I intensely dislike Ashley (to put it politely); but Kaidan----at least from Horizon onwards----is no less annoying.

If some day I can replay ME3, I'm going to go all renegade on him during the Udina coup.

Wow... just wow. This guy clearly has no idea what he's talking about. It'd be nice for some people who are writing about us to actually take a look around the forums for a minute... or maybe they just don't want to be caught amongst low-lifes like us or "noisy, mouth-breathing neanderthals" as he so eloquently puts it. I believe we've been quite clear in why we're upset and I believe (with a few exceptions) we've been pretty civil with BioWare and even people with opposing views. It'd be nice if they could return the favor.

Edit: I should also thank BioWare for being very kind to us in regards to this messy event.

Although I posted early in the day (or maybe it was yesterday) about my speculation of some of this being a stunt to extend to a 4th game, I'm not expecting or wanting this to be the case. I love(d) the Mass Effect setting and I would (assuming they add some balm to our current wounds) love to play a new set of games in the same setting. Different hero of course, but could be a same timeline. Actually, (and I'll probably be in a minority here) I'd love to play a villain not a renegade hero. I wish they'd done more with Kai Leng and I'd love to play a character who's goals aren't noble...

Or perhaps let us play as another race. We know there are other Spectres out there. Let us play an Asari or Turian spectre or some other type of Hero. We could be working to make Shepards job easier if they want to set in in the same timeframe.

Regardless of which way they go, what they do or don't do about these endings will influence whether I buy a new game. I love the setting like I said but if nothing is done to ease the situation then I won't continue to indulge myself.

But but come on; that would be bad arse - Chuck Norris comes out of no where; says to the god child........give shepard the real choices.......Kid says now.........*ROUND HOUSE*  I SAID GIVE HIM THE REAL CHOICES*......*shaky no this time: followed by ROUND HOUSE*  Kid gives Shepard the real choices and a chance to kick Harby's butt.....

That would make more sense than the ending we got now :D

A touching reunion after the last choice is a great ending, we can headcannon the babies in easily.

That said if we are asking for a happy ending to be added we should have a downer ending where the Reapers win too (if only to balance things out and prove our detractors wrong).

Should we organize another mass email/letter writing in a week or so?  Not to be mean or anything but to remind them we are still holding the line and that we haven't gone away?  I mean I don't want to overkill it but again I just don't know if they would think silence (not many posts) would mean it's not an issue anymore.  Image IPB
