Wow... just wow. This guy clearly has no idea what he's talking about. It'd be nice for some people who are writing about us to actually take a look around the forums for a minute... or maybe they just don't want to be caught amongst low-lifes like us or "noisy, mouth-breathing neanderthals" as he so eloquently puts it. I believe we've been quite clear in why we're upset and I believe (with a few exceptions) we've been pretty civil with BioWare and even people with opposing views. It'd be nice if they could return the favor.

Edit: I should also thank BioWare for being very kind to us in regards to this messy event.

I stopped reading it after he called us neanderthals, I mean really? please.

See, the name calling just makes me believe that he doesn't have any other viable arguments against us. Even if he does have good arguments, the immaturity of calling us names kinda degrades the rest of his opinion.

A touching reunion after the last choice is a great ending, we can headcannon the babies in easily.

That said if we are asking for a happy ending to be added we should have a downer ending where the Reapers win too (if only to balance things out and prove our detractors wrong).

In my opinion there should be 16 wildly different endings like we were promised, ranging from happy-downright depressing (lets make the current ending the downright depressing one eh? lol)

Some people here should have a twitter account , i think it's important to post your feedbacks about what you don't like in the ending , And hold the line guys! , it's just the beginning!.

I made a dummy account to help the movement but have no idea how to work Twitter. All my tweets show up ONLY on my page. That's why I'm here practically 24/7.

I have/had a twitter account, facebook, all of that but I stopped using them ages ago. Not really my thing anymore.

Although, if anyone has a google+ thing going that is related to the movement, let me know and I'm there. =)

No, you're right.  I totally get that.  It just makes me nervous seeing many comments that just say "bioware give me babies!"  I only comment so that we can remember that we have a broader purpose here than everyone shouting out specific, personalized wishes for their endings.

We need to stay representative of the entire group here too.

Omg...your post made me laugh so much here. "Bioware, give me babies!"  LOL

I do want Shenko babies, but I'm happy with a reunion (like probably 99.5% of us)

I want a cool ending where every life form on Earth is wiped out. And maybe see Shepard killed by a Reaper. Like, an epic death.
And one where we can just choose to sacrifice Shepard. There, 3 endings with completely different outcomes.

I really hope the plan isn't to build an ME4 on this...
Holding the line!

Yes, that worries me too.  How can it fairly get a 'Mass Effect' title if that technology no longer exists?  Well, I guess to be fair Ghost Boy said it was just the relays, not all the ship drives or anything.  I guess I just selfishly want the universe in ME4 to bear some resemblance to the first three games or else they might as well just start with an entirely new IP.

Also, for those who haven't seen it yet, I enjoyed this article from Kotaku.  It's nice to know they can represent both sides of the issue over there.

That was my thought when I read it, but also something really odd, he said sorry to Bioware, did he do something wrong to them we are not aware of

I may have to resort to writing a "pick'n'mix" series of fanfic epilogues. Every possible pairing, every possible death/life.

Then wire it all up in some site so you can check boxes of how yours ended and you get a finished document...

You know, if this all falls through, I would volunteer to help with that. I'd have time over the summer.

Offer accepted.

I'm starting to get nervous and antsy... I'm not sure what to do with myself. Bioware told us they will give us a more definitive answer in April... the paraniod person in me says that I must not wait silently because its exactly what they want us to do... But on the other hand I'm so tired...

Should we organize another mass email/letter writing in a week or so?  Not to be mean or anything but to remind them we are still holding the line and that we haven't gone away?  I mean I don't want to overkill it but again I just don't know if they would think silence (not many posts) would mean it's not an issue anymore.  Image IPB

That's a good idea. I wonder how many letters will be sent through snail mail though. The whole thing might just fall flat if they receive only a handful.

Any ideas as to how this may be organized?

Yep I am pretty sure that's what we all want to be honest. After all this is what was promised and yet we did not receive it *shrug* just my opinion though no need to go spreading it about (sorry couldn't resist lol)

Isn't the diversity really cool?
Bioware, you should be proud of yourself: you brought all these people together based solely on our passion for ME3 (and dislike for the ending)

Yeah, I'm here because we were promised 16 radically different endings and I'm gonna collect on that promise. But if BioWare decides to screw us over one final time at the very least they need to add a fairly sad, yet happy ending and a complete downer ending.

Actually I have an idea for an even more depressing ending than what we've got now. It involves Harbinger lasoring your squad (like the cut scene from 'The Final Hours'), then Hammer being routed and the remains of Sword trying to pick up as many shuttles as possible. Shep radios the Normandy to help get Hammer forces (not Shep) out of the system. Shep sees the Normandy get annihilated by Harbinger as it picks up some forces (including random squaddies from ME2 & 3 and Wrex) and hears Joker screaming in pain before the Normandy explodes. Shep then fights waves of Reaper forces before running out of ammo and gets overwhelmed while Harbinger lectures Shep about fighting the inevitable.

I'd be willing to assist also. I don't typically do fanfic but I do a lot of story writing for the D&D campaign I run. I've written a few novels (that I never had the courage to try and get published so they don't count) and I'm passionate about the setting. Anyhoo the point is, I'd be willing to assist where needed on this project. I will likely forget having made the offer if I am needed so if you do plan to use me, pm me or something as it draws closer to remind me.

Yeah, I've noticed thay many in the pro-ending camp tend to resort to name calling and tend to be misinformed. They just want to jump on the bandwagon of hate. Hate's an easy thing to get behind when there's enough people spewing it and cheering you on. Just look at politics. :P

But keep holding that line. I love Bioware, always have. I still remember my first real experience with Baldur's Gate and Baldur's Gate II, coming to a satisfying (and surprising) conclusion at the end of Throne of Amn when I was able to refuse godhood to stick with Jaheira. I remember saving Bastila with the power of love (cliche and corny, maybe, but very much Star Wars). I remember finding a way to keep everyone alive in DA:O, knowing what the ritual might bring and fully prepared to stop it, if need be-- but also placing my trust in Morrigan after making her my friend.

I'm just looking for an ending like that to the ME trilogy. Something truly powerful that brings real closure to the story, closes the plot holes and gives multiple choices on how it ends, from happy to sad to bleak. I know they won't be able to satisfy EVERY player and option, but here it seemed like they really only catered to one camp of people. It's definitely not what I expected when I bought the game.
