Ok, this thread has gone on long enough.

We are open to valid
criticism, but there are far too many lies and outright falsehoods here
such as the ridiculous accusation that we buy reviews. That is enough
BioWare/EA abuse. The thread is now closed.

LOCKDOWN!

Why the hell did they use the 'evil/devil' smiley after a statement like that?

That's evil Chris's smiley - he always uses it to end what he says - even if its good. He's just like that.

Technically the indoctrination theory only works if you chose destroy and got the half breath scene. If you chose destroy yet didn't get that scene (like me - due to my dislike of MP) then technically the indoctrination theory doesn't make much sense, I honestly hope that Bioware don't do the indoctrination theory idea, like forbes said "The Indoctrination Theory Is The Easy Way Out"

As depressing as it is, track 22, "An End, Once and for All" is my favorite piece probably.

Then again I love Clint Mansell's work.

It was the only good part of the ending imho.

Agreed! It is a beautiful track. Irrespective of the actual ending, I do distinctly remember choking up a little as Track 22 played in the background. So sad!

... Then the reality of the endings crashed down, and well... Ha! Gosh, that's almost too funny.

That track is beautiful. I love how it is reminiscent to "Leaving Earth", but without the strong tones for the Reapers. Once again ,the music ties the game together... but the ending just causes all of that emotion to seem hollow.

People were flaming and saying stuff that wasn't true (conspiracy type stuff)

That thread really went too far. Some people just don't know how to enter in valid conversation.

People are wasting valuable channels that could be better employed to really achieve something.

Yeah I agree, it's a shame really that thread was very informative.

The soundtrack was the reason I got the DD version. The score did a very good job illuminating the story and really grips you when it needs to.

A good score makes all the difference and I loved ME3's.

Agreed, the music fit perfectly with the story....even the end to be honest.

Really? I kinda knew that would happen. After Ms. Merizan came in people started to go off the hinge.

I've always thought that the soundtrack is a very important and oft overlooked tool to craft an experience, and personally I was always a sucker for slow solo piano pieces in any media.

I feel like if there isn't a good music in the back, there is no emotion going on...

I agree, a lot of the time if a bit does not have any music and it's supposed to be "emotional" that it nearly always falls flat.

Honestly, I think that if Bioware is going to remake anything, they should go all the way and make something epic and amazing. Doing a half a** job is what led them to this situation to begin with, so just adding a codex entry or a 2min video at the end to explain the current ending will actually only make things worse imo...

This. The music can break the mood easily. I'm liking that games are starting to do the things movies are with music. Using a full orchestra. It's awesome.

Looks like people took it too far when it came to the PR thread.

I don't trust BW/EA as much as the next guy, but I don't support flaming the crap out of them either. It doesn't make our cause look any better, that's for sure.

Shame, that thread had some great info in it. Here's hoping someone will repost it.

I agree completely, like you said doing a half-a**ed job is definitely what got them into this mess. If they remake or add extra endings then they really need to pay attention to what the fans are asking for and make something that is going to cater to the majority of us. I for one am quite willing to wait months, for new endings as long as they do it properly!

I agree with you completely, tell the fans that alternate endings are coming and they'll give you the time you need to get it right.

Agreed. It's a shame our movement can be overshadowed by a random group of people.

Honestly, I'm starting to think about playing ME3 again. I haven't picked up my Xbox controller since the 9th. After I saw the endings, I just couldn't do it.

Now, I'm tempted to play again, but just thinking about those endings...
