One of Germany's biggest Magazines made a poll asking what they think about changing the End:

Until now there are over 14.000 votes and about 80% are thinking it is the best, EA / Bioware can do.

Most of them think: "It's good because Bioware depends on the fans". Some small Minority think: "Good, i get what i want"!

Great to see. Even better, that's in Germany so no one can pretend we had anything whatsoever to do with it. The negative reaction to the ending is truely universal/irrespective of language, country, etc.

Yeah and I even didn't noted this poll.

Hey support group,

Out of curiosity, how many of you knew that you were supposed to read Twitter posts to find out the fate of some of the characters (and apparently the people of the Citadel as well)?

That really pisses me off. Kind of like the endings. Stuff that wasn't in the game but should have been. Use Twitter as a complement to the game, sure, but not INSTEAD of it.

What I noticed lately, I walked through electronics department stores here in germany (Saturn and Media Markt) But in both where only a small number of copies or even no copies of the game around. That is strange cause every AAA game has at least one pile.

Yeah, aside from Forbes, it looks like everyone has taken the double-speak from BW to mean we've already won, yet failing to note they promised us nothing more than new information in April (coincidentally, after Amazon's generous 1 month return policy expires/EA's fiscal quarter ends). I'm torn though on why this is (laziness on the part of the media, people reading what they want into the article, or an attempt to disperse our momentum by telling us there's no point to fighting any more) and at the same time what it means (if the movement will lose momentum because people don't think they need to be proactive any more, or perhaps that some validation/increased media attention will draw more to our cause, or that the media has in effect promised a new ending for BioWare so now, no matter how hard they were trying to hedge their bets, everyone will hold them to it).

This is GOOD. You know we haven't won, I know we haven't won, Bioware knows we haven't won.

But to the rest of the world it LOOKS like we won.

Meaning that if Bioware cops out of making something at least halfway decent now it'll look even WORSE for them. Take the good prese where you can find it, let Bioware and their PR people worry about the inconsistencies of it. They certainly showed enough concern when people were calling us entitled whiners at every turn.

I'm willing to show them the same amount of action they showed to us in correcting the misconceptions held by the above mentioned articles.

Okay that is lazy and know I did not know that.... its would cool if done right but they never mentioned any of this intergration.   This is stuff that  should be in the game.

The issue with this however is that Retake Mass Effect movement may lose momentum as more and more potential supporters may believe that we have won and there is no need anymore to support us and hold the line.

They probably thought it would be fun, community-wise. I don't blame them for going down that road but a mail in the game about Emily Wong dying would be appreciated. :C

I suppose then, more than ever, it's up to us to spread awareness and correct misinformation amongst our community. Further, as weeks turn to months, we'll need to remain vigilant to combat flagging resolve/morale.

Its a good a  Idea but you have to let  people  know about these things man... like with Enter the Matrix and Animatrix both added something nice to trilogy  as a whole.   Communication is key.... nobody hardly new anything about it... can considering the waste the Allers is Wong could have been used for a better role <_<

I agree with you to a certain extent, which is why I'm telling everyone I know to not stop shouting/loging in until they KNOW for a fact that they're getting what they want. You should do the same with BSN friends or ME friends you probably know in real life.

I'm just pointing out that it'll look even worse for Bioware if the rest of the world believes they promised something and then backed out.

The retake ME movement was huge, if they cop out most of those fans will practically be roaring for blood and real media articles (Forbes CNN BBC) that have already run with the story are gonna rip into this all too gleefuly, not to mention that Bioware will loose virtually the entire clientele that consists of the ME movement overnight, and word of mouth to other, new clients is gonna spread very quickly considering how many people the retake movement actually has.

So yea. The media "getting it wrong" as it were, is actually a good thing for us.

That and the real moment of truth comes during PAX that's when we'll most likely get a definitive answer of "This is the rundown of our plans consisting of x amount of alternative outcomes"

Or

"This is what we have in mind *copout job*"

Then the mayhem starts all over again.

I don't have a twitter account and I have no intention to open one. But hey, those are the guys who told me that, as I don't have Live Gold because I don't like multiplayer, I can't see the "real" ending in a trilogy's Single player campaign...

Is there any other game that requieres you to play multiplayer to see the ending of single player? I don't seem to recall any...

Well it depends if the clip of shepard lives is just a "bonus" I.e Legendary endings for the halo series, it happens anyiway but is just a teaser for what happens next, or if shepard living is a different ending in its self.

Then let's keep up the pressure and spread the word to no let things go down until we have a commitment from Bioware.

One note on PAX. As I understand Dr. Muzyka in his official announcement, never said there would be news at PAX. He only said in April, which could mean 30th April. Or did I read it wrong?

Well he only says april, but they know if they just rehash their old trailers and announce some multiplayer content at pax they are screwed

The more i think about it it would not surprise me if they cut out some content dealing with warassets but totally forgot that it would mess the TMS/EMS up for getting the "perfect" ending.

Nope and don't even get me started on that asinine  move by Bioware to force people to play MP... When it was good enough to stand on its own with out doing that, MP  should be a compliment to  the game.  They did not need to do that and I never brought the mess about   about galactic readiness from the start... They need to patch that out its just hurting them.

That was Bone Head move the from that start...  Square Enix implented  MP  in Kingdom Hearts Birth By Sleep better it was just an mission mode that you could solo or with friends to get  extra stuff.  It had no influence on the SP game... What Bioware did was just  flat out forcing people to play something  may not want...

You don't do that...

Back to hold the line.

I went through many pages in feedback thread on http://social.biowar...ex/10098213/185

People over there are doing Bioware truly magnificient ammount of data to work on. Yesterday Mr. Jessica Merizan put small note about "listening to feedback". I got the feeling they might take it into consideration.

That said I regained a little hope. Bioware may add new endings and satysify mu truly egoistic desire to watch the happy end to the whole trilogy.

Oh, and the REMINDER:

If I rememebr correctly IGN is throwing some debacle tonight about endings.

We must not give up the field even a bit - anyone capable should be engaged into discussion even if it takes place on IGN.
