Just to lighten the mood... I did my own ending but no we have not won yet but we will win..
My ending for them plays to this Marching On by One Republic
Its starts with a shot of their house but a pans out to see many Quarians and Geth building something bigger. The Alliance to better train its future soliders expanded Grissom Acdemy... now other students will study and train off world the other various races. On the Rannoch Shepard, Tali and Garrus are going to run the site for Engineering and field training... Rannoch as nice rugged terrain for it. We see David Archer and other students talking with a Geth and Quarian Engineers, Jack and her new class of students land ina shuttle with Nathaniel Shepard and Garrus waiting to take them out in the field.. Tail comes out two young children one quarian and one human both orphans of the war. Tali comes up behind him draps herself over his shoulder as Jack walks up making a comment about those two. While the two children excited say.. "Aunty Jack" . Garrus makes a comment about the kids calling her "Aunty" Jack is about to give him ear full but Tali give that stern look of"Not infront of kids or else..."
Shepard chuckles with a soft smile leaving a small kiss on forehead. Tali still has to wear a breathing mask but not a full helmet all the time she is still wearing her hood. Garrus mandibles twitch looking at the new crop of students to which he comments "lets teach rookies how we did in our day.." Shepard laughs and tells they're no that old yeah. As Jack, Shepard and Garrus gather supplies before heading out. Adrimal Hackett walks comes out of th building behind Tali, picking up on of the young orphans. He tells "That he thought he never see the day where Nathaniel would settle down." Tali tells he should he deserves it, he changed the Galaxy to which Hackett repleis "Only because you changed him, you showed what he could be, you gave him something to fight for and never sell yourself short on that... now I believe some of your students need you." he points over David Archer and one of the Quarian Engineers working on something. Tali smiles, understanding what he means and heads over to assist.
The Screen closes out with Tali voice ove: " When I started my Pilgrimage , Home was not place, it was just a dream, distant memory of place I have never seen. I did not understand then but now I do., a home is not just a planet or a house..its something more... is place were build your future. Its not just rock, steel, and woods. Its friendship, hope and most of love...I get it now. We have lost some much because this war, so much we can't regain. When Legion told that the Geth "Seek to be build there own future free of the Old Machines.", the Reapers. I could not really understand it was saying. Now, I think I do - The Reapers represent more than cycle of exstinction. They represent the cycle of hate and old wars - but we free of that now... free to build our own future what ever it may be. It will be ours to build and to discover."
Pan out to showing planet and the galaxy.. Credits rolll showing stills of the Different races rebuilding together and of crew celebrating and going to various memorials for the fallen(mainly Anderson.) Credits end.. a big splash page of a artist rendition of the entire cast from ME 1, 2, and 3 with The End.
Thats is my ending.
This fight is far from over.
There were a lot of problems with DA2, copy/paste dungeons aside the main plot felt disjointed likely due to the big gaps in the timeline in between the 3 acts. I did enjoy the story while I was playing through it, but it's hard to call it a good game especially when stacked up against all the other Bioware games that came before it. That said, at least the ending made sense and didn't come out of nowhere, they'd been building it up all game and the 3rd act was essentially only about choosing mages or templars, in terms of writing DA2 was still above ME3 for this reason.MysticBinary82 wrote...

I know this is kind of off topic so I hope you'll forgive me as I'm not trying to derail the thread. I've seen several posts (not all of them recent) where people who did not like the ending of ME 3 also did not like DA:2.
Am I the only one that liked that game?
No, I liked DA2 too. The end was not super brilliant but it fit the story

I think the sad reality for a lot of people is that their opinions of Bioware and ME3 are beginning to solidify. For awhile it was hopeful that this was all a ruse, a big misunderstanding, or some amazing new storytelling technique. Obviously, none of these are true.
I think at this point a lot of people are just done with Bioware. It's a game and there's other games and things to do in life. Unless Bioware pulls something epic, I think their reputation be permanently bruised by this blunder. The polls still show a great deal of dissatisfaction with the endings, but at some point you accept the disappointment and part ways.
This is where Bioware is in danger. I don't think this is going to blow over, instead it's just going to become "normal." I'm still holding on to hope. I still believe Bioware can be different, but the longer they wait the more they risk of creating a permanent reputation in people's minds.

I also liked it. My only complaint is with the copy/paste dungeons. Though I can see where people are coming from with their dislike to the game.MysticBinary82 wrote...

"Different, memorable endings" they said.
"Choices matter and reflect in endings" they said.
"Not true" we said.
"Art" they say.
"Art" is not an ultimat shield answer to justify your opinion without giving argument to back your claim.
if the claim "choices matter and reflect in the ending" they could justify it without "art" excuses.

plot holes aside, the 4 second gasp scene was deliberate.
That means something. That was on purpose. There was a reason.
And we have no idea.
No in all honesty I think that is where you were when Harby shot you with his lasers. See I'm a fan of the indoctrination theory, it makes sense to me at least. So Commander Shepard is still in London. He/she still has yet to defeat the Reapers. Of course I have no idea how said Shepard will complete this task. I firmly believe Bioware has tricks up their sleeve, and they will give us one hell of a (real) ending.

I think the best way to respond to the argument I've ever heard was in my college newspaper a few years back... "You can crap on a plate and call it art..."
certainly you have every right to crap on a plate and call it art... but you still crapped on a plate and people are most-likely going to be disgusted by it.
