Now now ladies, there's enough to go around, but please, one at a time, I'm not the spritely young man I used to be, oh the things I do for queen and country.

lol I'll try to stop myself from swooning.

It's the smoldering passion in his eyes. No woman can resist.

If only they knew that his passion is only for fast cars and a good ending for ME3.

Well we need to make it clear then: We are not going to accept an explanation, we want a new ending. Beyond that we need to make it clear: we are NOT going away. However, many people are just waiting now (that is why it is so silent compared to the last few days), because they voiced their displeasure and got a response that can be interpreted as positive (major media outlets claiming victory for us).

If they don't come up with something they promised all along, I'm done with them. Sorry to say that, but real life is calling and I have better things to do :(

Yes. Real life. Damn how this game derailed and ate all my free time. I hope they speed this up. And I agree: I have seen enough BS in this ending I won't allow them to screw up twice.

The media are playing a VERY dirty game right now. They're spinning the story that we're finished, and lying about the statement to make it look like we're happy with the way things are.

This is a building block for when bioware release 30 seconds of additional scenes onto the current ending, so that when we continue to complain we're completely discredited. It might sound cynical, but I am certain that this is whats happening.

First off good morning!:D

That seems problematic since its not only not true, but will send a message that if Bioware releases something not in line with what they promised and we again have to rally up on order to let them know this wasn't what we were telling them, then we look even worse in their eyes.

It worries me a bit since alot of if not all of us here know that the movement winding down is simply not true. I honestly can't think of something to say over there at IGN  stating what was said isnt true, without getting thrown in to the lions den. I'll keep at it but this move looks bad and I think that was the point. If we are seen as no longer campaigning or holding the line, then what's to stop The endings from get aadtional content, that matters?

Ok, I finished reading the ign 'article' about movement winding down, and am currently torturing myself with the comments. Is it usually this hostile there, or has the place been overrun by hairy creatures with tails and fangs? Just so I know whether to steer even clearer of the place in the future.

IGN has zero credibility.  They attacked us from the start in a vitriolic, unprofessional manner.  More importantly, as one of their staffers was given a part in the game by Bioware - despite her complete lack of anything resembling acting ability, and their decision to kill off a known character to make room for her.

They have no journalistic distance whatsoever.  Nothing they say can be trusted, and nothing they do should be taken seriously.

I mean the comments, they are so hostile it's not even funny, and I lurk usually arounbd the deep end of the pool, so I know hostile when I see it.

So I'm just wondering if this is the spirit of the site, never having really visited ign for anything more than walkthroughs/trailers, or whether we are just doing so awesome the little hairy and tailed creatures which are not to be named in this thread felt the need to rage.

I haven't personally followed what has been going on at IGN and I also have only ever really skimmed their material when stuck tring to climb a cliff in tomb raider or whatever, lol.

What I have heard though that they are really breeding hate over there so I've given it a wide birth.

Is it IGN fans taking their comments as fuel and just ripping anyone from RME apart?

I skimmed over a couple of the comments on that article saying "we've won". From what I saw it was half and half with one guy yelling over and over that we are just too stupid to understand the indoc theory. It astounds me that he doesn't realize indoc theory means they didn't give us ANY ending instead of a bad one.

I go to sleep for a few hours and wake up to this? Heh, things just keep getting better and better, anyway I will be participating at 2 with Forbes on facebook. If I am unable to get a chance to speak I will certainly be sure to inform everyone on the process as it moves along.

On a side note, I am starting to notice everyone by name now and most have been at this as long as I have. Just want to say great job everyone and lets keep sticking to our guns.

Lol, the Indoc theory sounded amazing to me 40 mins after finishing the game and when paired with a DLC possibility that would have to be announced pretty much immediately "hey, it was a PR stunt, we were only messing with ya, look how angry you all got, HA HA" sort of thing.
It's a bit late for that now though. Indoc theory is a good idea and Some people spent a lot of time putting it together (thank you to the people that did spend time trying to make sense out of this mess) and also it really could have worked. But now it is doesn't make sense anymore. They literally just put a **** in a box and handed it to us... It ain't no Turner prize **** either, it's just a ****ing ****, end of :)

Remember, people: now is the time to let Bioware know that we won't be satisfied with anything but new, real, satisfying endings. By this point, they must know that they need to do something. Given the tone of Dr. Muzyka's statement, it may be that they're considering releasing content that tries to explain away the plot holes of the current endings and that gives a little more information about what happens to the crew and the galaxy.

I don't think that's good enough. I want new endings free of plot holes, free of Starchildren, and free of logical contradictions. I want new endings that provide actual closure. I want new endings that allow my Shep to live and reunite with his friends and love interest. I want new endings where Shep fails. I want new endings that leave the mass relays intact. Above all, I want endings that make my choices throughout the trilogy matter.

Anything less is not good enough, and we need to let Bioware know that now, when they are still deciding what to do.

So let them know in this thread. Let them know in the feedback thread. Let them know on Twitter. Let them know by e-mail (contact@bioware.com). Let them know by letter. And, if you haven't yet, vote in this poll.

Self-bump. (I posted this about 50 pages back, and I think it's important)

A very bad precedent, it's like ripping the last few pages out of a book before putting it on sale and then telling people they have to purchase the conclusion of the story.

Ask where his mom and dad are, bond needs intelligent dialogue not circular logic.

I think the thing that bothers me the most is the whole "maintaining artistic integrity" argument. As an artist myself, and one that does commissions I might add, if a client is unhappy with my work I will go back and redo it.

I guess I'm just becoming more and more jaded about the whole thing. Mass Effect was my safe haven. I have been disappointed and burned so many times as of late with my other favorite game series, I thought ME would at least end on a decent note. Look how well that turned out.
