PS Completely off-topic. Crap, my english IS rusty. I had to look into vocabulary three times while writing this. And I can watch movies in english and read a lot of tech manuals. Just like a dog: understand everything but can say nothing.

:lol:I feel your pain, I'm a classic example of a person who remains silent in 3-4 languages. Though in all honesty, I'm not that great in Swedish and German, but I do understand them.

And I just thought a game that does not bring me to tears: Jade Empire. I usually forget it's Bioware anyhow, so just the perfect thing to get me out of my funk.

I hope I'm wrong. :(
Think corporate - that would be bad for business.

Dr. Muzyka said that they are working on DLC and new games in ME universe.

If they don't deliver at all it will kill them. That would be worst business decision I've heard of.
agreed, the backlash has been so strong at this point they know they almost have to deliver an ending that's adds another choice.....
if they try to do a barebones job most of the retake folks will swear off DLC and EA bioware products and they'll be inthe same spot...

I'm afraid of that, too. We all need to let Bioware know that's not acceptable. Tell them in the feedback thread, on Twitter, by e-mail, and by letter. And do it now, when they're still figuring out how to proceed.

I'm pretty sure that they are already past the 'how to proceed' stage. Otherwise, they wouldn't have made an announcement letting us know they are working on 'content initiatives that will give further closure'. If they were still trying to figure out what to do, they would not have posted anything.

It's pretty safe to assume that whatever idea they have come up with is already in action....They have to have a complete idea ready by the time they make their next announcement in April. If they were still waiting for input, they would be nowhere near ready in time to present what they decided on....

Yes, this.

What Q & A? Was there something scheduled? If so, did you copy/ paste all of it for us to read? If not, why not? ^_^

The two guys from Forbes that had been posting all those wonderful articles did a Facebook live chat.  Lots of good answers, and they've definitely secured their place as my go-to for gaming news.

I dunno they can explain if they want but  that seems like no explanation is even needed since those characters would never abandon the man/ woman who would neve abandon them.

Very true, there's also the point that Admiral Hackett was able to contact Shepard while on the Citadel and so you would assume the your faithful crew members are also patched into your comms so would be able to contact you when they recovered from the blast.

Just another logical flaw that makes the ending seems like that much more of a rush job, really.

Of course I prefer the squadmates mysteriously getting beamed up to the Normandy and losing radio contact over finding lifeless Garrus and Tali in pools of their own blood :P

That makes me think of another thing I disliked about the ending. There's very little suspense as far as your squad is concerned. Playing ME2's last mission for the first time had my heart racing even though I had made all the preparations and should have known that the outcome would be good. I genuinely feared for the lives of all my squadmates there. ME3, not so much as the last mission is just a shooting gallery with two of your people along for the ride while the rest are chilling aboard the Normandy or back in camp. Meh.

99% of the game is great and they are doing 'something' about the end, that's all i got...it's good enough for me......

there are enough folks returning it, you'd probably be able to nab it again if the end fix turns out to be satisfactory....

Well It might be prudent to exploit them the way they exploited me, send back for a full refund and then buy cheap if the news is worth it.

You've got a couple options.  You can return it right now, send them the message that you are displeased, and hope that enough people returning the game now lights a fire under them to come up with a satisfactory fix.  Or you can wait, and if you don't like the news in April, return the game then.  That could send the message that what they did is not sufficient and that you are not a happy customer.

It's a question of blowing some of your only concrete influence over the company now or later.  If you do return it, it's just money in your pocket, and if you like what you hear in April or later on, you can use the same money to rebuy the game (maybe for cheaper, for full price if it's a moral stand).

worst part about it....they are probably sitting there going....hmmm if we just patch in shep telling sombody to gather the crew and retreat....

If they do that then there are no cupcakes from me. Do you hear me Bioware? And I make damn good cupcakes.

I want cupcakes????    pweasssssssseeeeeeee..........

There are always cupcakes for you guys!

Before seeing ME3 ending, I was planning to purchase the last two books that came out based in the mass effect universe.Did they ever "fix" the last book or is that part of their "artistic integrity" too?

That's assuming that what will be announced will have some kind of media component to go along with the anouncement. It's still possible that they will simply announce what the ending DLC will contain, and in that case there is still time to voice our opinions.

You may be right, but I won't stop voicing my opinion until I hear a definitive answer.

I honestly think it was very cool for Paul and Erik to take the time - there were more than a few requests for Paul or Erik to try and interview, Casey, Mark or the good Doctor......about this....

I am weary of this whole April thing. If they release a DLC good for them I wont buy it though. My trust is so shattered with this company. I wont be buying anything, until I see it examined and poked at by groups of "intelligent" people. If they release fix I will come here1st and then decide. I had posted before how upset I was that I pre-ordered. This is only time I had ever done so. To get burned so bad the one time I do it. Heck I still have not "finished" the game.
