I'll say it again:
If you order a cup of coffee, and the barista serves it with pondweed in it, and you complain...
...is it an 'adequate' resolution if the barista apologises by offering you an extra helping of pondweed?
So we can't get the ending we want after all?

Of course not. We as the customer would just vote with our wallets and go to another coffee shop.

The additional responses are amazing:
"good to know. for a minute there i thought you were going to change it completely. that would suck,IMHO. :/"
"ok. Maybe I'll check it out. I like the ending though. Thank you for such a wonderful game(s) and universe!"
/facepalm
They remind me of that iPhone vs. Android youtube video, where the guy is like "They could release a brick and call it an iPhone" and the Apple fan responds "Yes, but it is the best phone".

And then people saying that the pondweed is art, and you shouldn't complain about having it in the first place; that it's a priviledge to have pondweed in your coffee

Welp. That's utterly unacceptable. And if Bioware thinks otherwise, they obviously haven't been listening to us. It's insulting.
Really BioWare?

Well, there you have it. "Clarify and add closure." In other words, double down on the current ending. That is NOT why people hate the endings. Either they don't get why people are pissed, or they do but can't bring themselves to admit the ending sucks so they're trying to plug some of the plot holes they didn't notice until fans pointed them out.
Prepare for disaster.
Like other people have brought up, I hope that Bioware does more than just puts some of the cut content back in the game as our "closure." Sure, I loved the extended Anderson talk with Shepard more than what we got, but that wouldn't change my view on the ending. Yes, I know that there was supposed to be more dialogue with the StarChild and the motivation of the Reapers, but the whole exsistence of that being is one of the major flaws in the ending. And also, originally, you saw your two ground team members get killed in the mission. I guess that would bring a little more closure, but not exactly what Bioware should do. These would all be pretty easy fixes since they all have at least sound files for the scenes, if not actual animation. If that is their idea of a fix, just restoring content that was cut, then that is no fix at all.

THIS.
They simply saying things people want to hear. That response about adding closure and clarification was in reponse to some "gentleman" saying:
Andrew Davies[/b]
I would worry if this was response to ReME3 member's post.
They are tweetin' 24/7. They may also run out of responses.

That was just in response to someone who wanted to keep the endings the way they were, and this is a fair response by bioware.
We can't take these tweets out of context or we will all go nuts.

Another PR double - talk.
adding closure may mean - adding new endings as well
They haven't really said anything commiting one way or the other, so perhaps we shouldn't be getting our knickers in a twist just yet. Although I understand it's really difficult to trust Bioware now....But I think we'll know more come April.

Your reasons are irrelevant. You are spamming a message about not spamming.
From the site rules that you like to remind everyone about:
No Spam. Spamming can be defined as posting multiple times about the same thing, starting multiple topics about the same thing, posting off-topic posts in other people’s discussion threads or topics, or providing links that have nothing to do with the forum, topic or subject at hand
EDIT: I see you are just going to keep doing it so I guess I'll just let someone else handle it that has the power to get through to you.

The Day 1 DLC, Origin Requirement and the no ME1 face import are all potential backlash, which has shifting weights in sales predictions.Ameno Xiel wrote...
Well, thanks for the answers.
You all make some good points, so for the moment I will hold the line.
But mark my words: potential backlash and money loss didn't stop them from doing things like the Day-One-DLC, Origin requirement, the no ME1 face import and the crappy endings.
Bioware is now facing an entirely different problem, which is major retailers having to offer full refund to customers that were enraged by the ending. Bioware/EA is a manufacturer so they already made money on the project when the retailers bought the game from them, hence why they said that they sold 3.5 million copies. This doesn't mean that they sold 3.5 million copies, it just means that retailers project that Mass Effect 3 will sell 3.5 million copies. When retailers bring in stock, the buyer and planner looks at three important factors: preorders, sales and returns for previous products among others. If Bioware fails to appease the backlash from loyal fans (aka we preorder your games), then their preorder numbers will take a hit. When retailers such as Amazon offer full refund on an essentially digital product that means there are sufficient amount of people requesting to return the product and their sales are also taking a hit. This mess will have an effect on any future game sales that retailers will order from Bioware/EA, since buyers and planners negotiate prices based on the amount of left over stock and preorders. The manufacturer will usually deal with the retail buyers either by lowering their price or they will take back the stock and refund the retailer for the amount.
This mess is screwing with the bottom line for EA. The bottom line effects dividends paid out to stockholders and stock worth, and this ususally leads to the board of directors to yell at the CEO. The CEO will most likely yell at Bioware to fix this mess or risk having their bonuses slashed. That's why in Ray's letter, he concludes it by asking fans to buy the game to judge the product themselves or give the game a fair review based on "gameplay" and not just the ending. Obviously this doesn't mean that they will fix this in the ways that we want, but they will "fix" the ending.
