Why? "Game content initiatives" could mean anything from a simple explanation to the current endings, to 20 brand-spanking-new endings to cover the wide expectations of the fans. We don't know what they're planning yet.

Don't jump to conclusions.

I understand what you're saying, but, why would they use so much PR talking "Game Content Initiatives" to "provide closure" when they could just say "We are working on a new ending" or "We are working on some alternative endings"??Unless what they really want to say is "We are not changing the ending but we don't want to say it in your face" .

Because they don't know exactly what they're doing yet? It's not a 5-minute "What should we do?" "How about this?" "Ok, sounds good. Tell the masses."

There are hundreds, if not thousands, of requests and wants from the fans all over BSN, not to mention the other sources of fan feedback. It's going to take planning, time, and work. That's why they'll be releasing more information in April.

I'm remaining hopeful, but I also have my shields up in case they fire the Letdown Cannon again.

Ok so Iv been trying to tell every one this but the theory of indoctrination is quiet true and what you see that then end is most likely a dream stare. Think about it shepred as inside the citidiel and if you chose the destroy option and have 5k army support you get and ending sean were he is breathing.

If this is so how did shepred get back to earth? why is he still alive? if he did fall why is the ruble he is surrounded in concreat and not metal? From the evdince Iv seen Mike just wanted to see what people came up with in there own minds for the ending before releasing DLC showing us the true ending.

Given what they've presented us: Space magic is the explanation.

On a more sincere note: I have no idea. It's clearly on Earth, so Shepard sure as hell wouldn't survive reentering the atmosphere, especially with damaged armour and no helmet. Shepard certainly didn't survive that the first time...

If they made the ending you want, exactly what you want and added as DLC, but released a caveat that Bioware does not consider that alternate ending to be in anyway cannon and it will not represent future content in the ME universe would you be happy?

Every time I see an indoctrination theorist I feel like I'm witnessing the BSN version of a Jehovah's Witness...

It would be great if indoc. were true, because that means the game's not over and the ending is still coming.  Of course, it also means I paid for an unfinished product.

They already did a radical retcon of the Reapers.

They can do it again.

Agreed. The indoctrination theory is a very clever idea, but I doubt this was actually Bioware's intention. They wouldn't intentionally release an incomplete game. That being said, the indoctrination theory would serve as a good "backdoor entrance" to an alternate ending.

As one of few I know that will buy DA3....if that were to happen...I would cry and laugh at the same time.

New ending for ME3.. The Normandy crash lands on the planet where DA3 is happening and they all get eaten by dragons..

or when the wave his the normandy they get sent back in time and then  they all have sex with the dragons and bring in the krogan race.

also the taint in the DA games is awful like the after effects of reaper husks

I agree.  It may not have been originally intended as the ending, but the fact that it's been brought up and supported so vocally gives them a convenient escape hatch.

Yes, if it was happy ending.

I still think that 16 endings is enough for anybody to find its own - from pure nightmare to pink unicorns.

No. Cause I think that is not the point we're trying to make here. It's not all about what we want but what was "promised" to us. What "could have been" you know?

People imagined all possible endings to this game, and most of them actually made sense in some way - in difference to those we got in the end. :wizard:

Well in one note its all a dream the "Space magic" never really happens it just the knoke back from the energy from the indoctrination takeing over or releaseing. I do suggest you go watch a youtube video called "Shepreds indoctrination" it esplanes all my pointes and also go see angryoes version he pointes out some good points too.

Funny thing. Bioware always said that there is no canon in ME since the players write their own stories. Therefore I could care less.

Did bioware fired harbinger's VA?
I mean, i can't see other reason for him not having a single line in the game.

Indeed, and if you think out it, its really cleaver. Makeing us all think that the ending was so horrible we all make are own ending now giveing the creative mind of the fans to make there own ending is really nice. But from all the twitter feeds iv seen of Bioware telling fans to "Hang in there" and "keep your saves" suggest we arnt done with Me3 yet.

Meaning there might be something more coming AFTER ME3. Sad thing is, if you take the ending literal (meaning no indoctrination theory) then Shepard is dead in all cases (ignore the breathing scene - Shepard cannot survive the citadel exploding, reentering the atmosphere and crash landing on the ground, especially without armor or even a helmet) so the only way to add content after the game is if Shepard somehow did not die.

Still in the denial phase myself...

Not really Mike the writer wanted to have a ending so the fans can poduice there own endings there way, releaseing a incomplet produce for a wile and seeing what the fans come up with in quiet nice really. Im just hopeing the true ending to all this will be a Free DLC pack.
