Did anyone else find the newest "Second Looks at ME3" at IGN somewhat, banal? I found the comment about us ONLY complaining about the ending, typically IGNorant. I hold many reservations about ME3, the ending is just the most unforgivable.

I'm surprirsed IGN hasn't gone afoul of the FTC disclosure requirements.. what being as their reporter was in the game they reviewed and I didn't see a disclosure anywhere on that review lol

Simply for the sake of journalistic integrity you'd think they'd have said something.  So I guess I'm not all that surprised that they're being arrogant and ignorant to the masses.

Definately hit a nerve!.  IGN can't handle facts and Moriaty can't handle being made a monkey out of and pwned on their own site.

Going back to the ending talk....

It's been three days since I last played, and I must still wait another three days until I get to fire up ME3 (I don't live where my PS3 is at. Don't ask).

However I'm still set on not finishing the game. I'm spoiled enough about the story that I know where to stop, even though I've managed to avoid details (so proud btw).

And yeah, after busting my behind to get a perfect ME2 save, I'm not wasting it on the game as it stands. If whatever Bioware chooses to do does not fix the issue, I'll just never finish the game. I'll never buy a DLC for it either. And they can say goodbye to my 60-70 Euros from here on out.

I'll just have to read massive amounts of fan fic, head cannon like a boss and pray some charitable soul with programming/editing/voice over skills can produce an alterna-ending in motion picture format...

Have any proof besides assumptions, or are you pulling this straight out of your ass? Where did PayPal state there were alot of refund requests? Or did you hear that from a guy who heard it from a friend of his neighbors dog? And alot of refund requests comparable to 4100 accounts that donated? Honestly it sounds like its you who is trying to use the charity as a bludgeon to support your side, that being that were all horrible entitled etc etc.

Those reasonable quibbles aside, I still had an utterly fantastic and very meaningful time with Mass Effect 3 and I consider it a great conclusion to the trilogy. But, for what's its worth, I haven't felt compelled to start a second play-through the way I immediately did with Mass Effect 2.

The thing about the ending.....your Shepard dies , right......he dies on the Citadel.

So in the extra 2 sec "perfect" score version, how is he suddenly back in London amid the rubble, because that is what it looked like to me.

Space magic? Or nefarious plot by Bioware?

Ok back from a depressing trip to the Jobcentre....though I cant give it all my focus atm ofc with ME3 endings being so awful *Sob* (2 weeks tomorrow since I finished it - and it's lingering like a malaise on my gaming mind)

Do we have a general idea when we'll here info I know April but when in April? I suppose most people are thinking Pax right?

If nothing really does change I'm not sure I can muster enough of an urge to see the ME Anime or Movie as it actually wouldn't make much sense to me any more after ME3 endings unless they did prequel stuff.

Hey, my Shep is chilling on Rannoch right now with Tali, Garrus and drinks all around.
There may even be a pool and a bbq.

well, that's one of the things the indoctrination theory would seem to explain... ie. (s)he never was up in the Citadel, just lying in the London rubble with everything going on in his/her head.

Otherwise the skittles rainbow lowered him/her down as the Citadel was blowing up.

I posted a short run of the my Head Canon ending  pages back ... I'm working one for my  FemShep now, going to be a bit more bittersweet

wwwwwwwwell heres how that happens

as the citidel blows up rainbow dash does a sonic rainboom, saves you, the crew and shoves EVERYONE into the normandy, but as she pushes edi in you fall out and land on the ground and get covered up by some random rubble, rainbow dash then pushes the normandy as fast as she can go hence the multi coloured explosions

AMEN. my imagination came with the best ending... sad a bit because Anderson, James And Admiral Raan.

After which, Admiral Gerrel and Xen were tried and found guilty for war crimes against the quarian people.

ONly secondary relays were destroy, leaving primary ones intact. Secondary being not powerful enough and thus overloaded.

Shep is taking a vacation in Ranoch with his best friends, Wrex is there with female Shaman, Garrus and Tali are a couple. And me and Liara are enjoying a nice glass of wine.

In the cliff where Legion died is the memorial that was on the normandy. The lifes lost in order to save the geth and the quarians. Legion amongst them.

Teary moment as we all remember the fallen and pledge to rebuild in their name.

Last but not least, Sheperd after all was over, as Turian councilor said "we can speak about my fault in this after the war is over", Shepard finally punched him in the face, and slaped twice the asari councilor. Although Wrex beat me to it, and headbutted the salarian councilor.

Sigh.... happy ending.
