Our Hold the Line parties are way better anyway.. we dress up in tactical armour and fire off rounds at cerberus and reapers.

Surely we still have some pull with Lucas... I mean we built him SWTOR... can he send some stormtroopers for protection?
(Jar Jar Binks shows up a few hours later)
"...I think I preferred the yodellers"
Jessica M: They're customers or players or consumers, Casey, not fans.
Casey H: [pulls her over to the window to look]
Jessica M: [pause] OK. Fans.

hahaha...it's unbelievable, I mean it's almost like everyone is afraid of successfully ending these epic stories - they throw themselves under the bus.
Nail it already and call it good!
They'd better!
*Points to yodelling posts*
We now have a deadly plan of action forming here.
It was good to have a break from all the tension in this thread.

I'm pretty sure calling us flat out crazy psychotic nutcases would be justifiable if we show up and start yodelling outside their offices hahaha.

So I gotta ask. What if BioWare indoctrinates your Yoddlers? Won't they break out into a Rap song during the Yoddleying, and then destroy your team from within?
Not saying that any of us are indoctrinated, or anything. I'm just saying there's a Space-Child telling me to destroy you all.

Just posted this comment to the Why is BioWare apologizing for not having a sappy ending? article...
---
"In any regard, the studio is placing commerce above art." Do you seriously believe that art EVER comes before commerce in a mass-marketed video game? Come now.
Besides, the issue with ME3's ending is more about a lapse in quality than any petty pouting about not getting a happy ending. ME3 customers have reiterated this time and time again, only to see the next piece published with the same misconception. Consumers just wanted an ending that actually made sense within the narrative context of the story. If the gaming media want the public to consider their work to be art, they should understand that the consumer has reasonable expectations of consistent quality.
The storytelling in the Mass Effect series was never going to win a Nebula award, but, until the last 10 minutes of ME3 blew a gaping hole in the fabric of the Mass Effect universe, players could at least manage to suspend disbelief.
---
My apologies if I seem to shortchange any of you who did just want a happier ending option. I understand completely why you do. It just doesn't seem to me that whether the ending is happy or sad is the core issue, hence this comment. It's just too easy to attack that position and dismiss the whole outcry as a preference issue. IMO. YMMV.

so i watched the ign livestream, somewhat akward that they agreed on us this time, feels like bioware has hinted them to something dlc related? Dont know if its something to hope for that they change their attitude just like that
IGN's probably just hoping the IGN cluster of the Milky Way is spared the Reapers Destruction if they suddenly decide not to anger the community any further.
They've done some rounds up here today too, basically said there's DLC inititiatives.. where it diverges in accuracy is whether they're announcing them in April, or if they're releasing them in April... personally I'd actually hope for the latter there. Get back to adding in stuff, like Omega and what not once we've given proper endings to Mr & Mrs. Shepard *glees in excitement*

My cat is indeed holding the line. Bioware should fear this, or suffer many scratchs and bite marks.
Hold the line.

Cats holding the line are like landmines... everyone thinks they're a good idea when they're deployed... but then years later when they're scratching everyone regardless of affiliation, eating your food off the table, and coughing up hairballs on your bed... well then it's usually bad news for everyone.

I hope they release them in April as well, as long as they're quality. I'd rather wait longer and get a quality ending DLC than a quick cheap fix. I don't want them to put a bandaid on a wound that needs stitches.

Marauder Shields shooting Citadel Kid would be an acceptable bandaid in my opinion.

Once they make their announcement, I'll know if I'm going to bother with anything else they have to sell or not.
