So we can't get the ending we want after all?

Hi, I have been away for a week. I have just seen Ray Muzyka's answer. I am not especially fluent in english and there is so many quick change in the forum that I would be please if someone could summarize me the discussions you may have one that point. Do they plan to create new endings or just to add clarifications on existing ones?
Many thanks in advance to those who will answer me.
They still are not saying. They say they will announce something in April. Some Twitter posts from Bioware make it sound like they are just clarifying, though they are usually taken down real quick. Nobody knows.

See, I had previously considered myself to be somewhat artistically-minded, I suppose by that I mean I have a high tolerance for ambiguity. I liked the endings of Lost and BSG as I was able to look past everything they didn't answer. Lost was mired in mystery, so it made sense to me that mystery remained. There was also closure and a logic based on rules set by the narrative.
But the end of ME3 instantly made me furious the second the credits started rolling. I was actually quite surprised by my reaction, but here I am.
That's why I think the majority of players, even our friends with very active imaginations, still have a really hard time overlooking all the plotholes and reversal of precedence to the overall story. It really comes out of left field a smacks you in the head!
Those people who enjoyed it are just as defensive as we are when we get called "whiners" or whatever. I for one am glad that the ending worked for some people! Just not me, or my Shepard, unfortunately.
Yeah, it was just so out of nowhere, it felt like I was having a nightmare that the ending of ME3 was bad.

Holding the line in France here.
Even here a _lot_ of people are upset/saddened/confused by the ending.
That's why I still have hope : our "war assets" are all over the world (even Japanese gamers nicknamed Mass Effect "rent Effect" as I recall), away and near at the same time.

As to those saying that Bioware should not change ending due to artistic reasons may I remind you that movies are screen tested and if the audience reaction to a scene or ending is negative then the Studio will tell the Directer (unless the Directer has Final Say) to either edit or completely re film a new ending i.e. Blade Runner, Fatal Attraction.
Hold The Line.

Random question for everyone that goes back to ME2... when they did the Normandy crash site DLC... am I the only one who fired a gun salute for the 20 fallen crew members?
...maybe I'm just odd because I was on a Marine Corps funeral detail for a few months.

One disturbing thing I've noticed is when I ask someone who likes the ending why they like it, they turn hostile. Damn near every time I've asked why someone likes the ending, the person starts insulting my intelligence, understanding and...well...anything else they can think of (and no, I don't ask in any insulting way).
The thing I've noticed is when someone asks me why I was okay with the ending, as soon as I say anything, they start jumping down my throat about how I must be blind, or not a fan, or a corporate shill. Can you blame people for being defensive about that? It's absolute lunacy, this entire situation.
You have completely over-the-top people on both sides fanning the flames, driving a wedge in the community, and driving people away. I was okay with the ending, I was super excited to play it again, and now I find myself so sick of this entire boondoggle that it's actually sapped my will to play. And not just Mass Effect, the idea of playing any game right now is just so distasteful to me. Which, in turn, makes me angry that this silliness has affected me in such a way.
Feel free to PM me why you like the ending =P I'd honestly love to hear another point of view, as it may be able to change my own view a little. At least change it enough so that I could be bothered playing ME2 again, because as is, I dont even see the point in doing that.
