Sorry guys been indoctrinated over the past couple of days ..... Saw mr Muzyka's (spelling) statement thingy. Anything of note happen since that? apart from the twitter thing that was taken down earlier

The whole "Oh, you can't change it cause its canon" thing is a laugh...simple reason for that is its a choice based game. A linear game would have to follow the "canon" path, but not the ME series. Adding a few endings wont change much, beyond giving people a reason to replay and make different choices in the game as they play.

Bioware knows they can't go the cheap short route because if they do...its game over for them. This has been all over the news, so the eyes are on them... especially the competition... blood is in the water because of this and trust me. If you think Square Enix after buying Edios, Capcom, CDPR, Blizzard, Atlus, Vigil, and others are not watching or they are.

Oh they are waiting in the wings to see how this going to play out. One miss step and these guys are swooping to start taking bites out the core consumer base of Bioware.

Just kidding. It was terrible. I'd rather watch jar jar binks dance and sing for two hours straight than go through something like that again.

Speaking of Jar Jar, I think this is something people tend to forget. While George Lucas often does things on his own with little regard for fans' desires, think about Jar Jar's role in Episodes II or III. Now I'm not starting a prequel argument here, but from what I've heard, Binks' role was cut down significantly for the second and third films, mostly because people just hated him so much. It's hard to deny that no matter what you thought of II and III, the facepalms you experienced from his moronic antics lessened more and more from movie to movie. My point is, the artist's vision shouldn't change based on fan feedback. Obviously ...

Obviously not - especially not when the "artist" has specifically requested the involvement of fans. That would just be unacceptable!

Especially since they always said that there is no canon in Mass Effect. Every player makes his hown story. My FemShep's story is different from my ManShep's and none of them are canon, simply different.
