TBH DA2 was good.

Ok it didnt have as much content as DA:O but still had pretty much the same as ME1.

It was kinda like Halo:reach out of halo 1-3

same here. i even had to rearange some icons on my dock because of it.. even not actually looking at it brought new waves of anger and frustration. 

but strangely the same applies to little kids. saw a little boy at the subway today and just wanted to go over and kick him. 
jeez, thanks bioware for making me hate little kids even more.

I think the ending of DA2 is bad. Not as bad as ME3 but still bad. You are forced into a binary choice (Support one group or the other) whereas there is perfectly legitimate 3rd option (don't support anyone) but that option is not available to you. That rubbed me the wrong way.

Concur.   Great read.  Helps explain from a literary standpoint where it fell off the rails.    

After reading this I am convinced more than ever that the alleged post by Weekes was legitimate.  It just too well explains the missing link pointed out in the piece above.      

I have read loads of pieces about the ending and this is the best so far

Chances are they're going to atleast try to screw us over with "CLARITY" about the crappy endings, when we don't really need any , we already know the endings suck and no amount of "CLARITY" is going to make them look any better.

And anyway, BioWare already lost my faith(And a lot of others, even before with DA2) when they lied to us about the endings to begin with.

It's like the old adage of 'if you have to explain a joke it's not funny'. A tacked on clarification DLC will cause a storm. An ending of this quality needs a real in game expansion to fill in the missed sections.

I told my brother today about the horrible horrible ending of mass effect 3. He knows about mass Effect and played 1 for himself. So i told him about the ending WITHOUT spoiling something so he can "feel dat pain" for himself. I was nerdraging a bit but we laughed a lot because he was loling at my rage and than i laughed to xD

Best laugh i got when I realized how... fu the ending really is: He asked me: Whats so bad about the ending? Do the Reaper win? Do they kill everyone? ALL i could say (without spoiling to much) was: Its even worse

Then a laughed at how sad this is... i feel so bad now

Before this whole mess I was planning on getting the 'art of the mass effect universe' book, now though I can barely bring myself to look at most things related to this game. Anyone else have it? Is it worth a look?

Not really, seeing as how he makes no sense what so ever and his logic is severely flawed.

'aggressive student freaks out and shouts at child - bystanders could make out insults like 'vent brat', 'f*cking god ai' and a tirade of swear words, but were unable to find any cause that might have triggered the incident.' 

and no, i do not in any way support violence towards/ or swearing around children. i just can't stand them anymore.

No, because there is too much wrong with the starchild (in my view) to be solved with so cosmetic of a fix.

I liked DA:2, I just want to see where they go with the story. Though a little resolution about what ultimately happens to my Warden and Hawke would be nice.

Not the book, but I was planning to get one of those ace n7 hoodies, but now I would rather go around in an ss uniform than wear anything to do with bioware and mass effect.

Maybe, but just barely. There is still problem with mass effect relay system being destroyed.

New endings should allow us NOT to accepct glowing pyjak's logic and THEREFORE get the happy ending.

only if you can kill him/ and the relays stay open, i would let my shep die for the galaxey.
but there should be an option for a happy ending if you done everthing in all games

Also I don't support violence or swearing at children either but I have always hated them (they make me want to pull clumps of my hair out most of the time lol)

Your right really, thinking about what changes they would have to implement to make a happy scene logical, I am basicly changing the ending anway...

Starchild does the same thing... He just doesnt straight up say ''My logic is undeniable.''
