Ok, since bioware basically ripped of deus ex, what other game endings would we rather they had ripped off and shoehorned in?

I vote L.A. Noire, just to see Garus in a Trilby

Anyway, this game is good, we need to hold the line to get the endings it deserves

Read this post...all of you

this is so spot on... this person understands the themes  better than Bioware and Casey Hudson.

Highly recomend this post. Excellent read.

Let them do the endings DA:O style - bad ranging to good, at the end the possibility to talk to companions and scrap that glowing little monster on citadel.

True but I was disappointed that War Assets don't play more of a role. Also, the Rachni Queen ends up being 100 asset points... way more trouble than she is worth.

Well i recently started another playthrough of ME 1. Its still a great game! Those were the times when ME usd to be a one of the most fascinating game series ever to be created. Even without the ending the series has lost a lot of this fascination it had in the old days.

Also i will go on to part 2 when im done with ME 1. I won't, i can't let these endings destroy two, or even three of the best games there are. But if i ever buy a BW game again for a full price will be decided what news they will announce us  in april...

There is no reason to break just yet. I had few terrible days after finishing ME3, just like I was physically ill.

But then I found some peace in holding the line.

One of former Prime Ministers of my country said: "You recognize a man by the way he ends, not begins".

That goes to Bioware and us. Hold the line.

Still holding the line, this is an unacceptable ending, and I am not reassured by the corporate doublespeak we've gotten from Bioware so far. We need to keep this stuff alive until we get actual confirmation of an actual change to the ending.

Ohhh dear.... I just realised I would prefer some cheesy star trek time travel paradox thing to correct the ending than keeping what we have

I want to play it again. But I can't
Made it through ME1 but now I'm stuck in the middle of ME2 and I can't motivate myself to even restart it. I can't even play BF3 cause I'm so mad at EA. Everytime Origin starts...AAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHH...what have they done

I think the only reason that won't (probably) happen is that it seems like Bioware is trying to establish a few set facts about the endings for sequels. They didn't feel like accounting for all the different types of endings they were wanting to put in, so they just cloned one ending twice for the grand total of 3 endings that are basically the same thing.

And now they've backed themselves into a corner with their artistic integrity B.S. and won't just admit they were wrong and actually fix the ending. They're just going to talk about all the mistakes they made and how they really were amazing we just didn't understand.

I've moved back to skyrim at least there my choices matter. besides we can always rely on bethesda to make a brilliant (if a bit buggy) game

After reading this I'm amazed how, after all this time and analysis of why the ME3 ending sucks, there's still new ways to discuss how and why it sucks. This time a more literary exposition of how they botched something as basic as simple narrative structure right at the end.
