Oh, it was deleted? Well, I guess I should wait till April for their announcement.

twitter bot is PR at this point....they over promised before release and underdelivered.....

PR dictates that at this point, they try to keep expectations for the fix low (hence all the 'we didn't say we'll add more') then try to over deliver....

you know I never thought anything would oust the " then I took an arrow to the knee" comment but the "still better then the Me 3 ending" has really caught on....

I don't think twitter is the source per se.

Remember when Priestly locked down the Forum?
The twitter-team was surprised.
I don't think they communicate that much, but rather have a catalogue of answers to questions we might ask and answers to give if the question is not on the list.
I wouldn't wonder if the catalogues aren't always that up to date.

Tweeter is not the most reliable source of information.

I'll believe only in official statement from Bioware's executives.

Tweets like that are meant to be inprecise, double - talk.

Better to skip it.

They teased us all along with "we can't saaay :) :) :)" and other idiotic stuff like that. I don't trust Twitter, and you all shouldn't.

Sure, but I don't think even the Twitter would be THIS clear about it, if they just didn't want to get expectations too high. Why not just say "we are taking the feedback of our fans into account and create new content", just like they did until now. I know Twitter is not a reliable source, but still... this WAS an unambiguous statement

Thanks for the update. In other words SSDD.

Envy you your supplies, I have no such luxuries and my local shop is many miles away...

Anyway, I need to relinquish the line for a bit, as there is some work needed to be done in the garden.

Back later all. Stay strong, stand firm, stand together and hold the line.

This is a possibility I didn't take into account yet. When thinking through it, it could actually be that way.

I still have hope that they did all that on purpose and the actual ending will be announced or delivered in April and all is a PR stunt. I still can't believe that the same company which created the ME trilogy screwed up the ending so badly.

Okay, so which tweet was deleted then? I've already combed through 30 pages trying to find answers to this, I'm not gonna double that to 60.

Hey everyone,

I have been a fellow lurker as many on this site and was also upset by the "apparent" endings in ME3. I do find it sad that Bioware threw us such a lame ending with so many plot holes. Though I haven't been able to follow this thread entirely (way too many pages of content being updated) I was curious if anyone at Bioware actually saw this picture with such an awesome set of outcomes for the end: http://i.imgur.com/JhtqY.jpg .

It is not mine and don't claim it. I just wanted Bioware to be aware that some people have created awesome alternatives to the current endings that suit it better in my opinion. I'd like to ask what others may think of this alternative? I was hoping for something like this in the end until I was given the choice of three colors....

BioWare talks about artistic license, but they aren't making a damn painting. This is a long, drawn out, interactive, detailed, emotional story of choices. Also, it's only in Hollywood and Pop Culture that "artists" cry about "It's my work, I can do whatever I want!" and get depressed over bad reactions to their performances and pieces. Truly trained and seasoned professionals take in criticism and admit when they made mistakes... and they correct them a soon as possible, or in their next work.

Let's hope BioWare does the same. I'll wait for April and see what happens... see if they own up to the very poor quality of writing they produced for the ending sequence.

And it was deleted because it was posted in error. If the statement was true, it woud have been left there. Stop stressing and Hold the Line, we all know there are changes on the way come April!

This brings up a great point: just because a posting (of any kind) is deleted does NOT mean it has been reversed.   When something previously published later is deleted, it can happen for two completely different reasons:

1) they want to reverse the position or un-commit to what was said.
2) what was said was perfectly accurate, they just don't want it announced yet.

Seriously, this same exact thing happened with the prothean squadmate.  A YEAR ago some marketing materials leaked that said the collector's edition would come with a prothean squadmate add-in.  Someone caught it and asked about it, bioware then removed the text and said "it was a mistake.".  Everyone interpreted that as there would not be a prothean squadmate but in reality they just didn't mean for that to be announced yet.

Just remember that, when something is later deleted or denied, it could be perfectly accurate just not released according to their grand rollout plan.

I can imagine at the pannel, they all go, "Mr Hudson will now discuss the endings with you" and all the bioware employees appart from him run out and lock the doors

It has been posted before, but thanks anyway.

Pictured outcomes could actually made sense and would provide promise multiple endings.

Welcome. Glad that you are not lurking anymore ;)

The image you are refering to has been posted many times in various threads in this forum. However it can't be posted enough as BW should see this as it shows what we as their customers are expecting to be delivered.

Just remember guys, twitter has also give us comments from Jessica Merizan and Mike Gamble saying things like "hold onto your copy of ME3 forever" and "if only you knew what we were planning" and "making judgements without having all of the facts." I'm sure there's plenty going on behind the scenes at Bioware that we're not aware of. We can only work with the hard facts that we have to hand, i.e. we're unhappy with the ending and Bioware have released a statement saying that they'll announce what they're doing in April. Beyond that don't bother with Twitter - it's useless.
