So we can't get the ending we want after all?

I think if that were the case they'd be watching the BSN boards more than Twitter. This is where the majority of the discussion has been going on and where they've been asking for feedback from. I think people are putting too much stock in what's going on on Twitter.
Agreed. People, dont ever listen to twitter. It's there to provide a defense between the public and the company, while appearing to be active with the consumber base.
In reality, it just fends off questions in a non-meaningful way.

You know what, despite what the final hours app said, I truly believe the endings are a result of interference by outside influence or one person's "vision", that seems to be isolated from the rest of the team.
That's exactly what I think as well.
It's almost as though the boss's 11 year old son wanted to write the ending, and they couldn't turn him down.
(Maybe he modeled Casper after himself.)

Question: Do you think that the tweet saying that we'd get clarification and closure on the existing endings was either a trial balloon or an attempt to disrupt the line? I've seen a lot more than just one or two people say they either give up or "it was a good fight but this is as good as we're gonna get" ....
Thoughts??
I'm not sure. Either way, I have a hard time taking a tweet too seriously. It may have been an attempt to disrupt the line, but I'm not going anywhere until something official comes out.
Hold the line.

I wouldn't think that anything would go out on Twitter unless it's been approved by the powers that be though .... right????
With hundreds of questions coming in every hour, you just have a team who replies the twitter account with a set list of acceptable response trees.

Hey, does anyone remember when this thread first came out?
I was originally skeptical about the whole thing, then as I started reading along, I had started feeling this dread creep up at the pit of my stomach.
Then I started thinking to myself, "Nah, BioWare isn't that stupid, no way would they create an A, B,C ending so simplistically stupid and negate all our choices through the games. No way..".
Boy, was I totally and utterly wrong...
I was the same, I've been on this thread since around page 50 and I held onto the hope that Bioware wouldn't pull this crap. Then I got to the end of the game, as everything here was still building about the endings, and no matter how prepared I thought I was for the ending it still just floored me.

Type "Mass effect 3 ending" in the search-box

Also just type in Mass Effect and you get a very diferent outcome...
I tried Bioware then EA and just for fun IGN... First one almost 50/50 the other two.... all red

Me too.The ending does not match the rest of the game, and I have a hard believing the ones who wrote Mordin's death would go along with this ending.
I he modeled Ghost Boy after himself he might not want to go out in public anytime soon. If he ran into one of the more "fringe" elements of the movement......*shudders* XD

It was a little of both and neither. Basically the tweret did nothing more than re-iterate what Muzyka already stated. The tone at Bioware remains neutral toward us, and this has some folks frustrated which is understandable. However, What we are doing, is never a hit and run type thing. It takes a long long time ( well, more than three weeks ) and i dont think people realized that when we started or they would have simply dumped the game and moved on to a different gaming company. We got a long way to go..
Hold the line and a wave from Central Oregon signing on..

I will play it just to get my people promoted so that I have more war assets on my next playthrough if the endings are fixed. If the endings aren't fixed then I will probably not have the stomach to play through ME ever again. It's a shame because ME was the best games series I have ever played, and that's from playing 300+ games.Computim wrote...

Same. After I got to the end... then replayed the end 2 more times to see if I could make a better decision... I was so let down and frustrated that I deleted ALL my save games and walked away for a few days.
Now I'm hopeful Bioware will do *something* to fix the situation and I feel I should go through ME3 again just so I have a savegame waiting in the wings for when things change.
But if all that falls through, I just bought the King's Quest collection on Steam.

Yep. I read it, and didn't believe it. I kept thinking Bioware wouldn't do that. I should have listened. Between the OP and Marauder Shields, we were warned.....

Hope abides. Everything else we bring on ourselves. Hope without action will always disappoint. Action without hope will destroy. Only a balance of hope and action will produce results that lead to success, but the trick is to only hope for what is achievable at the moment, as a part of a much bigger picture.
