Yeah, who needs silly ol' interactivity in an interactive game? And there you have it.

Its like all the prelease quotes from the devs foreshadow everything...Casey implying that the entire ME3 storyline, WAS your Sheps "ending" whilst slowly taking away the dialog options. After that point (the London scene??) who cares...let's come up with whatever we want now that player agency is wrapped up!

The only thing I disagree with in that review is that the bad ending alone will be good. I expect to see a variety of endings, depending on your previous actions. So, pure happy ending should be also included among all others.

Simply put no.

DLC sales require a large(ish) number of people to have the game, be interested in replaying it again and again and have the money to hand over the money. Right now sales figures don't look good, replay value is effectively non-existent and people are VERY wary of handing Bioware any more money.

Oh, thanks. I was so busy spitting out my drink at first seeing the quote and then cursing and cleaning off my screen when realizing it was just the app that I didn't think enough to focus the DLC part. Of course, that's the Portal DLC he's talking about ...

Agreed! one good outcome won't hurt the overall game if done right. If 16 outcomes was the plan why not add some good ones especially if the player works for it. Heck they could put it in a NG+ which would actually give other people a reason to go back and see what other outcome they can get.

Can't have victory without sacrifice, but you also can't have sacrifice without hope for the future. That is at least one themes/ending I'd like to see.

At work on a saturday night, so came over here to hold the line!

A friend just finished the game with the Synthesis ending, and was like "It wasn't that bad."  I told him to go do the other two options and then get back to me.

This exactly. When ME3 came out and I had to wait a few extra days to play it (if only I'd known...*sighs*) I was intent on buying an N7 hoodie. And maybe a tshirt. Not anymore.
Bioware/EA ain't getting one more cent out of me unless they fix their mistake.

I bought it in my feverish anticipation for ME3. It's an interesting read but I honestly haven't looked at it since ME3. Oh, and that ME3 artbook that came with the Collector's Edition? It seemed like it was just a portion of the ME3 section in the Art of Mass Effect Universe book.
