Just want to say: I am so so bored, why did Bioware have to screw up the ending to a game I would be playing over and over again. Now I just sit, being bored scrolling through this thread since not only did ME3's ending ruin my Mass Effect experience it also took away my wanting to play any game at all :(

As a gesture of good will Bioware should have Riddick, Doctor Who, and Issac Clarke as temporary DLC squad mates lol

What's
funny is that all of you guys say you are criticizing Bioware and IGN
in a 'civilized manner', but then you turn around and threaten to leave
IGN, stop buying Bioware games, etc etc. I can't see how that is
civilized. That's a child's reaction.

This has been a fairly common argument against us from what I've seen and it just makes no sense at all. Seriously how does behaving like a good consumer make us children? Colin Moriarty insults us and berates us directly so we say "Well if you're going to be an ass we can get our gaming media somewhere else" and if Bioware or any one else makes a game with an ending we dislike/bad game in general we don't have to purchase their products any more. This is how the free market works, how in the world is that a child's actions?

Exactly, we are consumers. If someone sells you a faulty product and refuses to fix it will you buy from them again, NO. If you buy a new soft drink and it tastes like garbage are you going to buy it again, NO.

All this is is consumerism at it's barest level.

Thanks for clarifying that.

I just watched a video reviewing the endings in black in white to compare them... and I think I stumbled on something that puts another HUGE plothole in the ending.

Starting here, when the energy beam hits the relay, the gyroscope in the middle stops and begins to spin the opposite way.

Now think about this for a second... When a negative current is passed through Element Zero, it reduces the mass of an object. That is what the Relays did since their construction.

Once they reversed their direction, positive current was passed through the Element Zero in the relay, amplyfing the signal and thus destoying the relay.

But what about all that increased mass of the relay itself? If the mass was increased to a certian amount, wouldn't that almost necessitate that the Relay becomes a mini black hole? Even for an instant?

Imagine the energy released from one of those things. Not only would the entire system be destroyed and reduced to atoms, but near by systems would be effected as well.

So... Shepard not only killed everyone within a system's distance of a relay, he may have killed everything outside that radius as well.

So... how did Joker-Adam and EDI-Eve and their harem survive again?

I think BioWare knows this damn well... I hope that the oncoming DLC/patch is enough to rekindle my faith. If not, I don't think I will ever be enthusiastic enough to actually buy another of their games.

I fully agree.  Bioware knows what's at stake and the cost if they should fail a second time with the endingS.

Ugh, can't stand TB, I do agree on a few points regarding dlc, suggesting people to never become a fan of anything is a pretty naive point of view though, a more correct way to put his idea would probably be people obsessed with a product series, you "need" to be a fan of something, people need to have something to relate to and something they feel very pasionate for, otherwise we would all be about as interesting as the grass growing in my yard.

Well it obviously collapsed into a super dense body of mass.... which then turned into a black hole sucking the Normandy into it... which then threw them into another universe... one where everyone is My Little Pony's with Viking Hats... in red green and blue colours.

Or we could just go with Space Magic, and not give anyone anymore ideas.  Image IPB

Yep agreed not much else we can do now but sit back and wait for April, and constantly hope it's good news and what we actually asked for.

"Give us hope and a fighting chance."
It was good enough for Shepard... even if Bioware didn't come through in the end for him/her. :wizard:

Boy, I'd be kinda afraid of the backlash if they give bad news. I know I certainly wouldn't want to be there :?
