- Background (ex: Colonist - War Hero)
- class
- Paragon/Renegade
- LI
4. Your info:

3. If you could say one think to the people who worked on Mass Effect what would it be?
Rules/Guidelines:
1. NO BASHING! NO VULGARITY! Etc...
2. Please keep the length of your audio submissions in mind.

Just want to say: I am so so bored, why did Bioware have to screw up the ending to a game I would be playing over and over again. Now I just sit, being bored scrolling through this thread since not only did ME3's ending ruin my Mass Effect experience it also took away my wanting to play any game at all
Yeah, this here, I can't bring myself to play any games either.
but what's worse is I'm going into game development, and we have to make a game for our project that's due tuesday....and I can't bring myself to do much work on it.....*slaps forehead* I was so hyped to be going into gaming but seeing how this is being handled......or not handled....
Pushing my way through the project but some of the mechanics we have to add are similar to some gamepley mechanics in Mass Effect.
why does everything remind me of this game!!!
Anyway, so we're gonna wait till PAX for the "offical" answers to our questions?? Great that's 13 days away....wow my lucky number....*crosses fingers*

I just watched a video reviewing the endings in black in white to compare them... and I think I stumbled on something that puts another HUGE plothole in the ending.
Starting here, when the energy beam hits the relay, the gyroscope in the middle stops and begins to spin the opposite way.
Now think about this for a second... When a negative current is passed through Element Zero, it reduces the mass of an object. That is what the Relays did since their construction.
Once they reversed their direction, positive current was passed through the Element Zero in the relay, amplyfing the signal and thus destoying the relay.
But what about all that increased mass of the relay itself? If the mass was increased to a certian amount, wouldn't that almost necessitate that the Relay becomes a mini black hole? Even for an instant?
Imagine the energy released from one of those things. Not only would the entire system be destroyed and reduced to atoms, but near by systems would be effected as well.
So... Shepard not only killed everyone within a system's distance of a relay, he may have killed everything outside that radius as well.
So... how did Joker-Adam and EDI-Eve and their harem survive again?
Wow, even if the "mini black hole" thing wasn't that powerful it would probably still have an effect on the orbits of planets in at least the relay's system. **** would get real - maybe not right away, but someday.

Yeah gaming just seems like a waste of time, which is a shame seeing as how ME3's ending is bad but that doesn't make all games bad you know?
Oh wow, I hope you can get through your project OK it would be awful if this debacle messed with your studies, Good Luck!!
13 Days? so just under 2 weeks and we will have answers....I think I can wait another 2 weeks....maybe

Yeah

New e-mail campaign (short notice). On March 26th please send an email to contact@bioware.com supplying information about what we want to see in a new ending.
Focus on the core requests of the movement:
1. Closure (what happens to everyone)
2. Fill the plot holes (why is the Normandy running away)
3. We want our choices throughout the games to impact the ending.
Remember keep it respectful, and polite!
Sorry for the short notice!

Hate to be that guy, but... no. First, just because the mass of the relay increases doesn't mean that it increases enough to become a black hole. Take Earth, for instance. If its mass were, say, doubled, it wouldn't become a black hole. And yet that's a significant increase.
Second, there's nothing special about the way that a black hole influences other celestial bodies gravitationally - at least, not from large distances. If we were to replace Jupiter with a black hole of the same mass (a black hole which would be far bigger than one formed out of a mass relay), do you know what would happen? Nothing. The planets would all go on as if nothing had happened. Jupiter's moons would all go on as if nothing had happened. So, since the mass relay already influences everything in the solar system gravitationally, and since it would be replaced with a black hole of the same mass... nothing would change, except for the tiny instant where its mass was increased. Given how short a period that's for, though, the effect would be negligible. I'd be more concerned about all those ships flying around simulating the gravitational force of Earth.
The really interesting thing is when you think about Einstein. Remember E=MC^2? That means that mass is equivalent to energy. And if you have a spike in mass which then goes away, well, that gets kind of hairy. See, that mass is energy. And conservation of energy says that it can't be destroyed - it needs to go somewhere. Which means you get a boom. A large boom. Maybe that's where the energy for the Space Magic came from... but I'm still imagining a big boom.
Sorry about that... aaand now, back on topic...

I am biting my lip so hard to keep from telling him the truth. I want him to enjoy the game like I did, until I reached the end. Who knows though? Maybe by the time he does get to the end of ME3, we'll have our resolution... Keeping my fingers crossed.
