I never had any tears, anger or any other emotion when the credits rolled, I just felt numb, I could not grieve for my squad mates because either they were MIA or running like cowards to another planet, my Li stepped off the normandy smiling, she obviously did not give a crap where Shepard was, so it went like this.
1.Epic battle to reach the conduit
2.Huh?
3.Go to bed.

This, but actually couldnt sleep, stayed on the forums all night, staring at the screen, totally zombiefied, not even reacting to anything, just letting it wash over me, just a mindless drone for at least the upcoming 24 hours. Visited my folks because of some family issues and they thought i was very sick or something, even i pretended to be "normal"

I also love how we can talk about how much the game made us emotional messes.
Girls, Boys, Women, Men ect ect we all have similar feelings in one way or the other
Whether we cried alot, or were just numb. We all eventually ended up with anger.

Holding the line! :)

I admit my reaction was sort of an anger that went into a numbness, then disbelief and then a bullet train straight back to anger. Honestly, I find humor to be the best medicine.

It is nice to here people talk about how emotional this game made them.

I admit I cried because of this game.

The fact that this game can make me do that is amazing and that is why I am SOOOOOOO angry. Why would Bioware thrown in a twist and then call out Artistic Integrity when it would go against the premise of the game they made AND the fans that support Bioware. Doesn't the story and the fans deserve better than that?

Clarification will not cut it. You can polish a turd but that doesn't change the fact that it is still a turd.

So, in order to perserve their artistic integrity, they shattered it?

Yo, Dawg! I wanted to maintain my integrity. So the only thing I could think of was to shatter it so you could see how I maintained it!

Genius!!;)

Humour is definitely the best medicine and we get plenty of that here :D

Agreed in full. I cried from overwhelming emotion during parts of the game... and then cried for the utter soul-crushing ending that was given for Shepard. After all that time - caring about the stories and characters for over five years - I just felt so betrayed.

I personally loaded up my copy of DA:O and watched Duncan pwn Darkspawn left and right until he took an axe to the face.

Then I went off with my Arcane warrior/Spirit healer to thoroughly pwn anything and everything in my path on the Insanity difficulty.

Reaching the Archdemon, and beating it on that dificulty with all my allies fighting the endless waves of Darkspawn coming at me made it all worth while and I was able to get over it for about...2 days.

Then I remembered how bad the ending was and I backtracked right into the angry zone again

Y'know I actually don't like this (or any of the Gamer Poop) videos, I think they are pretty badly put together personally.

I cant even finish my second play through, I feel broken about the ending. I am at the assault on Thessia and I cant go any farther. Bioware needs to fix the ending, why would they leave the greatest sci-fi series ever, with such a bad ending. I hope Bioware actually listens to us, they always said their customers shape their content, I hope to god they are good on their word. We need to continue to hold the line! We can't let it end like this!

So BW has told us that it'd be hard to get the best possible endings, but they always let us do with this game something that was unprecedented: if we made the right decisions, we could get the outcome we want. Huge spoilers ahead, you've been warned:

Current information states that regardless of which ending you choose, regardless of whether or not Shep lives or dies, the Normandy crew gets stranded on some random world without tech, Shepard will never see them again, and the galaxy by and large is completely boned for the next 200k years or so without any kind of good spacefaring tech.

To which I just want to say...why? After so many years of giving us control, why jerk it away from us at the last second just to force us to get a "bittersweet" ending. Not that I mind there being one present, and I'd use one in a playthrough, but not ALL my playthroughs.

I forgot that you worked on the game.  How do you know that that planet has no tech?  I mean, since Shepard lived at the end that means that all Synthetics are also alive.  Note that Reapers never called themselves Synthetics as the Citadel Ai clearly states that, "All Synthetics and Reapers will die, inlcuding you Shepard as you are also Synthetic."  Only Reaper Tech is destroyed, nothing else.

Hello. Is this Jeff Bridges? Great! Sir, I have a question of utmost importance. I need to know how you were able to get inside that computer world in that Tron movie. No, I'm not insane, Mr. Bridges. I just beat Mass Effect 3 and I need to get in there and take care of this myself. What's that? I'm the 38th person who's called you today about this very thing? And what did you tell the previous 37 people? The cops, eh? I see. Thank you for your time, sir!

Hello! Samuel L. Jackson? Sir, I have a proposition. I was wondering if you would be willing to go inside a video game and shut this Starchild ... Hello? Hello?

Hmm I had the advantage of being warned beforehand. Even then, I was somewhat surprised. I paced around my house for a good hour laughing and scratching my head. Maybe a defense mechanism? It didn't really sink in for a bit. Then I went to the internees and lo and behold, I was far from alone. That made me feel better.

Yikes. Can you imagine the poor bugger who is just walking home from the grocery store and comes across a group of people yodeling ... badly? That might scar them for life but definitely give them something to tell the grandkids.

Same here. At first I kept wondering if I had missed something because everything online kept talking about how great the game was. Then I came here and found comfort.

I have been holding the line for 10 days now. How long have you guys been at it?

Actually it could work... We all show up outside the HQ and when they come out to yell at us, we simply tell them. We gathered a crowd to harass you about your ending to protect you from crowds that harass you about your endings because you will make another game that will generate a crowd to harass you about your endings....

If nothing else it would make me chuckle to see something like that happen.

Yeah most said it was too extreme, we wanted them to fix the games, not take their cyanide pills to stop the agony. Image IPB

Since the 11th. I'm surprised that I've been actively posting and present in this thread for that long. Usually I don't get involved in forums.
