If you don't recruit Tali she is on Earth when things go FUBAR

And dies of hunger. Remember, Earth has L aminoacid biology. And I'm quite sure Quarian food can't be grown here... Nothing's ever simple Posted Image. M.

There is a Quarian fleet. Depending on what state earth is red/green/blue

A big vulnerable live ship that can grow food is near Earth during the final battle? OK, that's... somewhat plausible... M.

Not to mention it'd have to feed the Turians too.

Would they bring their own? It's logistics, you need to feed the troops where ever they are ask Napolean how it went when his ran out of food in Russia.

I'm sure they have stocks, but I'd assume most supplies for a fleet that size
would come from the relays. Quarians have no choice but to grow their
own seeing as they lack a homeworld and colonies.

We were informed by the bartender in ME2 not to eat Quarian food becuase it would make us sick that food was for Turian and Quarians only when you went to deal with the idiot pretending to be an N7. I forget his name.

Saw this on 4chan/vg/ thought I'd share.

>>GEARS CLONE.  VIABLE POSSIBILITY.  EASIER-TO-PLEASE AUDIENCE AND CHEAPER PRODUCTION COSTS.  SHOWS GREAT DLC POTENTIAL.

Probably because they are laughing at it.  People say they aren't commenting because it's all true.  I say it's because we don't have all the context (in game dialogue and scenes).  They are definitely reading it, however.  I imagine the change in policy came from people *physically threatening* the Walter and Casey.

Why wouldn't they reasssure people who are cancelling their orders over this?

Agreed. You'd think we'd at east get a reassuring "Just wait and see."
Not cancelling preorder though. The gameplay will be great.

The best gameplay can´t compensate this.

As someone pointed out, they took Deus Ex endings and did then badly. Should we also expect a dumbed down sequel with a canon ending but elements of the other 2 in it?

So say I get 0 war assets and rush the whole thing? Does it make any difference?
Do we get to know what happened to the species?

This situation is not particularly promising for Bioware any way you look at it.

"There is a happy ending." - We know they're lying.

"You lack the proper context to fully appreciate the endings." - The disappointed are still disappointed, the skeptics are still skeptical, the war rages on regardless. Also, this stance would require that no one has been spoiled yet, which is obviously not true. The spoilers remove much of the need for context in the case of the endings.

"Sadly, you are correct." - Corporate suicide. The forums explode with rage, everyone gets spoiled completely. See my avatar for the result of that SNAFU. The game's sales are destroyed.

"This is what we created, deal." - Same as above, except even worse. Not even a fantastical option by any approximation. DA2 all over again, with more disgusted fans than ever before.

"No comment." - Anger, speculation, etc. continue on. Still, there is the promise of many people in denial coming to the defense of the devs, and the people claiming we lack context support the devs as well. The fan base will still get rowdy after release, but there are no further incriminating statements.

Out of these, I can see why silence is, indeed, golden.

Yes I saw it. It shows Shepard resting in the ruins of London, and shows her/his chest taking a deep breath indicating that She/he survived.

It doesn't exist, it's supposedly rendered in-game based on your choices (and the appropriate people come out of the hatch with Joker).  Supposedly.

Meaning with gameplay? I think just Xio and the rest of the leakers from SA and such.

As a video, we've only seen the breathing.

So all our efforts are for nothing?  Our crew gets flung to some backwater planet, leaving the protagonist stranded, alone, and likely to never see them again??  Is that what this is whole mess is about?

Yes, feed them, you take a month supply of food an go to battle (at least I would do so). Unless the Quarians also read the spoilers on this forum Posted Image. M.

Shep: "Tali, why are you bringing 80 years  of food aboard?"
Tali: "In case we get stuck on Gilligan's island!"
Shep: "Garrus... never mind"

At least we know why the Normandy couldn't outrun that explosion. It was weighted down with food.

how is destroying the relays blasting the galactic community back to the dark ages? What, does this blast release magic energy that somehow destroys the extranet, omnitools, FTL drives, propulsion systems, all ezero in the galaxy on every planet, spacecraft fuel, electricity, smart people, and entire vessels? I mean, the quarians alone could probably develop ships that could travel in space pretty easily.

The technology being used is not experimental, only been out for a decade, type tech. Some of it is centuries old, not something that everyone can just forget how to make over night. It's like saying that at the end of a game, all the roads in the world get destroyed, and now people not only can't use cars the way the used to, but don't know how to build the wheel, use a phone, or use their mouths to orally communicate.

I bet that after a few decades and some restructuring in the galaxy, the galactic community will restore themselves to some for of ore rand begin rebuilding. Or did the magic energy make them forget how to send transmissions, or use comm buoys, or how to press the on button.

The video showed ruins alright, but where does it show it is London?  Although I did click to a later part of it to see Shepard. Must find it again.

If Bioware had any sence, they would send out copys of the game to all you who cry on the forums, with a locked ending, worst possible! where everybody dies! please! if the ending in the released game is not to your liking, well, then, suck it up! they can't please everybody. never seen so much selfishness before.. *look at me, i'm angry cause Bioware don't cater to my every needs!* grow up people!

Sure they can please everyone. It would be easy. Just have one ending where Shep and his LI and crew survive together (in a place where Tali and Garrus aren't doomed). Problem solved.

They've made a name for ME by trying to please everyone. Want MP? We'll add it. Want s/s romance? We'll add it. Want to skip conversations and just watch cutscenes? We'll add it.

So they should just add a 'live or die together' ending, and all will be well. I just can't accept having all the people Shepard cares about being torn away forever no matter what I do. That sucks.

People were very upset about Liara... what did they do?... I think they fixed that quite well. I just think you are blowing it out of proportions. I don't get why a heroic death is so repulsive to so many? It seems like not one game ever can have a heroic death without rage.  The galaxy isn't worth the crew of the Normandy?  That selfish?  It's FO3 again... How dare they force me to be a hero.. those jerks.

Totally agree with you. Bad endings have always caused bad ending movies, books, AND video games to be trashed and scorned. And rightly so. I f I want bad ending I'll just turn on the news.

So then there is no footage of the normandy crash landing on a planet? Just them stepping off the normandy according to different inputs? I would think that the normandy landing on a planet would be pre rendered.

I think that they probably won't comment until the game is released and either:

A: The endings are better in context, or there is something we don't know, and the complaints die down a bit.

B: The endings are the same/worse in context and more people complain than ever.

def has to be one of these.....either day 1 patch makes some slight adjustments, the game is set and the actual context of play makes it bearable (still won't to me) or they address it wednesday cause it's gonna be ugleeeeee
