COuld you possibly pm me the unfiltered version? I'm tempted to smack one of my friends who uses 4chan with it...

My humblest apologies, but no, I'm too lazy  caught up with school work at the moment. Besides, 4chan has some good things too, IF one is willing to swim through the debris filled swamp of AWFUL to get it :innocent:

...and how come nobody recognizes Revan? Even if he wore that mask the whole time he was a Sith Lord, he didn't wear it as a Jedi. The man was a great Jedi hero before turning to the Dark Side yet he goes to Manaan where the Republic have a strong presence but nobody has a clue who he is. What about the Mandalorians? They considered Revan to be a worthy enemy. You'd think they'd know the face of their downfall. You'd think the great hero-turned villain would be someone that people would recognise. I understand the Jedi keeping it secret but still, it makes no sense. When he goes to Korriban, of all places, don't forget that a lot of the Sith army in KOTOR are actually fallen Jedi, people who followed Revan into battle before he put on the mask.

It makes no sense....what...oh.....sorry, wrong game. :bandit:

Kay, let's share with you my point of view on this thing.

Bioware: We're gonna ship the game late 2011
EA: Hell no you're not. We want Kinect and MP.
Bioware: It's a very, VERY big request. We scheduled our priorities and we have some internal discussions regarding the endings.
EA: Don't care, delay it but seriously, Kinect and MP.
Bioware: Kay, we'll have some devs to develop MP and Kinect

It took them more time than they could have possibly imagined. The release date was getting close, so they couldn't ship the game in time, if not by using the same endings the leaked version had, even though Mac said that they made changes to the script.

They ran out of time and the game shipped like this (cutscenes in London were sloppy, for example. Anderson lacks facial animation, Shepard too. Compare those cutscenes with the ones from Mars, or Earth, you'll probably notice the technical/artistical gaping chasm between them)
I personally thought that the whole Earth sequence was rushed, cutscene-speaking.
They started working on the true endings, bettere Earth sequence, whatever. Then the ****storm came. If they were proud of their work, why not simply come to the forums and defend their product with logical explainations and stuff?

They can't because they're not motivated, because this is NOT the end. Not yet,at least.

I stopped reading that... picture once it said DA2 was shipped out the door before it was even in Alpha.

As disappointing as DA2 was, it was clearly beyond Alpha.

EDIT: And I'm glad I did, because it got stupider.

(talk between brenon holmes and crimzontearz) may we add mr holmes to the people we are willing to burn on a bonfire? and of course to the large list of pre release lies and so on?

Are we playing a different game to the people at Bioware?????

I thought it was pretty well established that the various options Brenon was talking about were just the different variations of the endings.

Blanket community question, but does anyone else have trouble finding the drive to play videogames past ME3? ME3's ending literally killed my drive and passion to play videogames at all.

Oh, my kind sir, your words bring forth small flame, hope, to my heart, yet I have not decided whether to let that hope take root inside my soul, if it is only to be so cruelly ripped from the tender sinews of my heart... leving me once again undone, crushed and hollow.

Same here, the rest of mass effect 3 was so good it makes anything else look cheesey, and the ending means I am stuck where I am without being able to move on to somthing else.

Maybe it's like in "The Emperor's New Clothes": Only people with BioWare-attidude can see the magnificence of the "endings"..

Question is then, who were the ones at bioware who wove them in the first place?

I've read many posts saying that.

I have the same. Since I finished ME 3 i didn't touch ANY game. That is what scares me - with it's poor stunt Bioware took away my favourite enternainment.

I still hope they and me will get over it. That requires however seeing some good happy ending - both to the game and to our cause. :crying:

Yeah lol pretty much the same for me. I have been on here since I beat it. Why should I play anything else, I am still stuck on how bad the ending was, hoping it will be fixed and I can move on. Damn..just goes to show what an amazing game universe Bioware has created, lets hope they fix it.

What's the deal with 4chan? I've never used that site.

It is the darkest corner of the internet. There be Dragons and Trolls.
The uncontrolled rumor mill where everything is permitted, and everything shown to the eye of the curious stranger.
Be careful young fellow, cause if you venture there, you will loose soul and sanity but you might find the 'Truth'.
The Shadowbroker DLC was prophesied there and it came to be. That is what you must know about the message board of no return we call 4chan.[/quote]

Yes. I couldn't even play solitaire for over a week after finishing the game. Now I'm trying to recover by introducing small amounts of Jade Empire to my daily life.

yup. i finally found out how boring my life must have been before i even started with video games. tried skyrim, fallout, witcher, la noire, mirror's edge, deus ex, bulletstorm and even game of thrones genesis just for the heck of it. i failed. couldn't even get more than 10 minutes done before i alt-f4 my way out of them and ended back here.

Yep totally with you. I look at my games and always feel like there's no point. *sigh* why did Bioware do this to us?? As the Geth said "Creator Bioware, what has this unit done wrong?

Regardless of who's at fault, I think the significantly shortened development time of ME3 compared to the other two is telling and is central to most issues with the game. Still, with 90% as good as it is, can you imagine what it would've been like with another year of development time?
