Perspective and belitting are different demons. Pointing out how silly it is to get this emotional over a "$60 piece of plactic" is bad, no matter how you slice it. 

I for one am very proud of my emotional investment within the Mass Effect univerese. I do not however need people telling me to calm down "because it's just a videogame". That's ignorant. It's more than a game to me, so I defend my right to condem people who think it's wrong to react so strongly to it.

I agree with what you say just that if it irates you probly best just to ignore it. Again that just an opinion, in my line of work I have to read a tonne of emails regarding what I do from peers and customers and I find it best if it the content's of said email upset me to just acknowledge it politly and let it go.

Thats just me, I'm not trying to say you have to do what I say just that other people's point of view (even if that view irates you) is valid to them as your own to youself (regardless of how misguided it maybe to you).

Probly best to leave it at that, but feel free to reply if you like just no need to get too detrailed from the topic of this thread.

Mate, he's not saying it's silly, he's just voicing his opinion that you shouldn't let it affect your personal life so much. He wasn't singling anyone out, didn't insult anyone (at least not on purpose) and just gave his opinion. He's entitled to it, so lay off the "ignorant" thing and just leave it.

I feel the same way. I haven't really been able to play anything. I've tried Anno2070 but all the time I kept thinking "i want to play mass effect" but then i remembered the end, so I didn't want to after all. All messed up, I just quit Anno again. Haven't been in swtor since i finished me3 either...

If that is true...well...I don't know if my tears would be tears of joy or sadness.

Joy, because I get a decent ending, and sadness because Bioware is now on the path of delivering us this "TRUE " ,even if I don't get it O.o ,ending by buying it.

Well, either way, we have to wait till PAX. But that up there seems...ugh.

Naw, you're right anyway. I just make it a point to make sure others know they can't speak for me or how I should/shouldn't feel about this universe.

Nevertheless, its worth a watch if you agree with him or not.

As much as I would like to think that is fake, we all once thought that the leaked endings for ME 3 might have been fake as well.  This, however, does not sound like they've thought it through just yet.  I mean, "the Advent?"  Really?

Seriously, they're looking for inspiration for space combat from Kingdom Hearts 2?  iirc that was just glorified Star Fox, and people complained so so so much about the on-rails space combat in SWTOR.

I hate to say it but...NOT a better ending than Mass Effect 3.

From what I understand Bioware has been clear on one thing only. ME3 represents the end of the line for Shepard as a playable character/protagonist in the ME universe. Why the hell would they drag it out by making him/her a zombie-like being named, of all things, Advent!? This would enrage EVERY single fan of the saga. Forget about the endings debacle, this is something I think NO ONE would get behind.

Not sure if I like it...
IF it is real, I won't be able to play until May anyways, so I might as well sit tight and see other people's reaction before getting it myself (thank god for BSN)

Emotional is what you where when you were crying about how you were 'wronged' by someone. Me, I'm just pointed out that you're insulting.  There is a difference, but it's such a minor one you seem to miss it.
