You all realize that info came from 4-chan, right? The place that told us about "The Truth" and the still unconfirmed MP DLC. I doubt this is real.

wasn't the shadow broker dlc leaked on 4chan? 

edit: but yeah, i'm on the 'this is bull' side and do hope that this doesn't come true. because seriously, how stupid does the whole thing even sound?

There was one. Back in February (or January, can't remember), someone leaked the current endings on 4chan and it was taken down really fast. People still wrote it down and put it online. I found it and I thought it was a joke, because there is no way Bioware would give us the choice to become like the Reapers or control them....yeah, right <_<

This ending issue is so big now.its all over the mainstream press etc.
they wouldn't mess with us now. I think it will be done properly by Bioware.
I also envy Dragon Age fans. I myself loved 1st one and didn't even play 2md as it was poor beyond comprehension. But looks like DA3 team will make sure ending is befitting the game.

I don't play any story driven games as well after ME3 ending.
thinking of replying ME1 again just to see how agood ending looks like. Again.
not many games out there that hold my attenntion.
maybe finall play a bit of Witcher .As much as I love Skyrim this game is just to chaotic for me to enjoy it.
Never liked games do what you want how yoycwant etc.
they lack focus for me and I get bored.
The only other game that I ever enjoyed as much as ME was Xenogears on PS1.
Bleak game but with a happy ending.
So I don't know wtf has happened here.

I must say ixwatchhed the endings again on YouTube thinking letcme analyse them after 2 weeks of finishing the game and they just as **** as they were when I finished the game.
so no Bioware these endings simply won't do for us here.

Nevertheless, its worth a watch if you agree with him or not.

I am not typically a fan of smudboy, he generally annoys the crap out of me.  However, he is dead on in this, I hate to say it, but there it is.

He kinda sounds like Plinkett from Redlettermedia.......oh and you know we never really would have questioned all of that stuff in the beginning, IF the ending didn't suck.

If this is true, I was wrong with the "The ending of ME3 was the worst thing happened to the Mass Effect universe." It was one of the better things of the horrible things.
No matter if true or not, the whole catalyst stuff is so utterly random and far-fetched.
A whole closure and a new game series in the far future would be so much easier, and wouldn't require a "load your savegame from the previous game to import your choices" (which is something which would get out of hand if persued for over 5 games anyways)
I liked EA at the time there was the orginal NFS 3: Hot Pursuit, but I lost faith in them long long ago. Still have hope for Bioware to (perhaps) evade them and do their own thing.

PS: Damn, I am afraid what will happen to my favourite game series...

How's the line holding guys, any new news? I lurked a bit yesterday but my friend convinced me to play WoW in the first time in around 5 years since I really needed to play something, and WoW is not story heavy. It didn't work as well as I'd hoped since the second or third quest after creating a character was titled "Hold The Line".....

Also, minor point in the scheme of things. Even if this is true (and I don't think it is) and the Catalyst does an Exorcist, Shepard's body is still a human one and even with cybernetics it wouldn't survive a millenia.

You know you are right, if the ending hadn't been as bad as it was, I most likely wouldn't have begun analyzing the game to the point that I am starting to see things that I missed.  Bah I wish I could forget it all, and it was still January or February and I could still look forward to Mass Effect 3 and this was all just a horrible dream.  /sigh

I could be wrong, but don't you get this half made one breath cut to credits scene in NG+ regardless of your choice?

Because Ash/Kaidan encountered a Prothean Beacon, which inplanted visions of Mass Effect 3 into their minds. After that suiside was only inevitable....

Oh God, none of this better be true or I'm going to scream. Seriously though, Starchild?! Your going to force me to play as the one being I hate most!!! That is if any of this is true however but then again I never thought ME3 would end like this so...

You only get it when the Reapers and all synthetic life are destroyed. It does not have to be a NG+.

No, I tried that an hour ago in my painful quest to complete insanity. NG+ ending changes were just rumor the strategy guide helped start up
