i love that one, "Stand Strong, Stand Together", listening to it right nowCDHarrisUSF wrote...
Listening to the soundtrack repeatedly makes me f***ing furious that "An End, Once and For All" was wasted on that piece of s#!t for an ending.
EDIT: I want "Stand Strong, Stand Together" to play whenever I'm about to do something difficult.
So we can't get the ending we want after all?

I'll definitely pester an origin employee till I get a refund on ME3 if we don't get a decent ending. ME and ME2 will either be relegated to the back of my bottom desk drawer never to be seen again, or chucked in the trash depending my the level of rage. Mass Effect was about choice, and if my choices are irrelevant then so are the game's replay value.
You know what, this is going to sound nuts but...im on my second playthrough now and its kind of 'freeing' ...knowing that I can do anything and the consequences dont matter.
Just yesterday I did the Rachni mission, and I had the sick queen. I totally let her loose, and my entire crew stared at me like I gained another head. Because MY shepard is clearly the jerkface who killed the good Ranchi Queen in ME1 and saved the bad one here....
Haha it was pretty funny.

Some information and humour to help people cope. I've added a few new ones. If you can think of more, post them and I'll include them in this list and re-post every once in a while.
I've put up a website of spoofs for ME3: http://goo.gl/KyEDU
I'll update this as I write more. (I have several more ideas.)

Tell me about it. When I was watching the ending I was like "This makes absolutely no sense but the music is so beautiful". The music was all around incredible through the game. And to think, it was the music I was worried about when it was announced that Jack Wall wasn't working on this game.
The music triggered me in the worst way to be honest. It made me remember my time in Nam, and watching Mai and her seven brothers and sisters coming out of a corrugated tin shack smaller than my front room every morning. The old ladies taking dumps on the side of the street cuz they had nowhere else to go, and the body bags lined up on the flightline waiting to be loaded into a c-123 so they could go home..
The music was hard..

Don't sweat that 4chan stuff people. Even if it was true, we all know what Bioware does when it's stuff gets leaked. It changes it to involve space magic.
...does that mean that Mass Shift will be worse than the version that leaked?
And they should rename it to Space Magic

Then, it's followed up by "Das Malefitz" for the credits... but I'm too busy trying to comprehend the magnitude of the ending f***-up to enjoy that one either.
Also, I want "Stand Strong, Stand Together" to play whenever I'm about to do something difficult.
My ironic side actually liked the fact that after this mess of an ending the song for the credits is called
"Das Malefitz"...
Even now it makes me chuckle, because in old German it can be directly translated into "capital crime". Now if that isn't what we all felt about the last ten minutes...

Queen: Mr Bond, it has come to this ones attention that much unrest exists with the populace of the galaxy.
Bond: Yes Ma'am, intelligence reports that an organization known as Bioware has released a devastating weapon upon the galaxy.
Queen: This sounds serious mr bond, how bad is it?
Bond: Worse than indoctrination Ma'ma.
Queen: Mr bond!, that is a serious claim, on what basis do you make this claim?
Bond: Well Ma'am, the weapon entices you with promise of glory, honour and hope.
Queen: But mr bond I see nothing wrong with those attributes, these are things we hold dear in the empire.
Bond: Yes Ma'am, but when the weapon has completed it's function all those attributes are removed from the victims leaving nothing but an empty husk.
Queen: "glares", this is outrageous, one will not stand for such atrocities!, you are hereby authorized by any and all means to combat this threat!
Bond: Thank you Ma'am, the current resistance is strong and we will do whatever it takes.
Queen: You are dismissed.
Bond: Thank you Ma'am, "turns and begins to walk to the exit"
Queen: Nice arse.
Bond: Errr, excuse me Ma'am, I've got a galaxy to save, "quickly exits"

Came across that article this morning in another thread and couldn't agree with it more.
Except I also think that...
It should also include references to all of the decisions, survivors and war assets collected.
And
There should be endings ranging from bleak despair to fluffy bunnys. Even if you have to work damn hard to get the fluffy bunny ending.

Yeah, we'd be here, because Mass Effect is a story with a beginning and an ending. It was planned like that from day one.. Skyrim, ( home of the creation kit ) is an open world platform. There, the story takes a back seat to the offering of making your own stories. In a case like Skyrim, cration kits add an incredible amount to the game over all, but in games like Mass Effect, those very creation kits would serve no real purpose whatsoever..

I just read the last 20 or so pages i missed, and please take the "leaked" stuff with a grain of salt, anything that doesnt come from BioWare is potentially and probably fake, trolls like to get a rise out of people.
I just googled krogan babies btw by fan artists, they are so damn cute, because of this, if the ending is handled in a respectful way later on, i would definitely pay for Krogan LI DLC
edit: Typo

Thus I'm not really a Skyrim fan (I like to follow an epic story).
And that was a joke. No way Bioware would do this...I hope...
