well - i am off to bed (need my "beauty"-sleep (also friends tell me that i could sleep a millenium and it would not help ^^....them bastards are just joking of course ;) ))

but i got something to say before i go:

today i had the irrational impulse to play ME3 again - also i wasn't going to, after the ending - but, i start of again, and after getting to mars my lust to play vanished like it had never been there (i thought of the ending...depressing, really :(...even more so as i still think ME3 could have been so much more...it is just not immersive enough for me with us being so disconnected from our war assets and fighting cerberus more times then reapers....:(

greetings LAX
ps: when is this PAX thingy?...i hope it arrives fast because they are just pissing me off ATM :(

And this is the most recent Michael Gamble's tweet:

Michael Gamble ‏ @GambleMike... wtf is a 'digital blackboard'? Haha.

http://www.edmontonj...n?size=620x400s Indeed... recent photo (July 2010) in the Edmonton Journal of the Bioware Offices.  I see a lot of Whiteboards.. none of these fabled digital blackboards... though I've heard of them and they DO exist.. I don't know if Bioware has any hahaha.

Well at my CEGEP in Comp Sci we had what we called smartboards which were essentially digital blackboards. Worked pretty well considering after the lesson the teacher uploaded everything written on the smartboard online for anyone that needed a reminder or who missed the class. Damn physics department got one first though somehow, still don't know how that's fair. *shakes fist at smug physicists*

Been lurking here since a week before the games release so I figure it's about time I join in. Frustrated at having to wait until PAX but I'll hold the line with the rest of you. I do have a question for all of you though, has anyone else seen that little spider thing run around Jack's hidehole and if so what is it?

its your space hamster from ME2 catch it

Thanks, what happens when I catch it?

You get him back up in your cabin, like he was in ME 2

I'd say "Herding the Shepard". Nicely reflects how we couldn't do anything in the conversation with starkid and the lovely lack of impact our choices had.

Honestly? The phrase will be "Pulling a Mass Effect."

Haha, thats my favorite one so far!

It ends up in your cabin, in the same place it was in Mass Effect 2.

I imagined a digital blackboard to be the thing kids draw on with a stylus in pink color - and then you shake it, and the image is gone.
No, Bioware couldn't use those to write scenario - in that case we would have only pink ending.

Yeah we've discussed them for work.. things like network topology diagrams.. which, at the moment are like Visio diagrams printed out and framed.  We used sharepoint at my alma mater, and the awful WebAdvisor blackboard system haha.

Those darned physicists, I bet you they threatened to rename the facility BlackMesa if they didn't get what they wanted.

I just read a post that seems to really sum up my feelings at this point:

Ah yes.......hold the line.

BW Gives us a Choice of three endings but in truth they all suck somewhat. An none of the choices gives the player what they really want in a ending, makes you wonder why you bothered playing the games.

Did anyone else felt like the last 10-15 minutes were like the game suddenly became a David Lynch movie? And I LOVE David Lynch normally.... but how it was done here, it was just not done right! :/

Don't blame this on David Lynch!  This was just space magic gone horribly wrong. Image IPB

How many people of ReTake are going to PAX atm?

I'd like to go there to ask my questions, but it's quite impossible from Germany ;)

Our highschool got some and just randomly put them in classrooms. My history class had one, we barely used it for what it was intended to be used for.

Great budget use right there.

Haha :D Yeah i am afraid you are right... but still Lynch also made some "dark" magic/supernatural like momets... which just felt right. Maybe because they really ALL could be seen as an allegory regarding some of the protagonists inner feelings. www.youtube.com/watch Edit: (maybe a better RED ending??? ;))

I wish I was able to go, it would be interesting to see the reactions to any announcements first hand, lets hope the movement remembers to stay cool under fire.

Agreed. A horde of "hardliners" beginning to act like mad Husks during the poll would be an epic fail for the movement :/

Yeah I would like to see the reactions first hand too, and like you I hope the movement keep their cool....don't need to be reading about "Mass Riot At PAX when BioWare announced future DLC and no endings"

(Though I hope that's not what will happen, it's just that if they do not give the endings we all desire then I can just picture that headline lol - humourless laugh btw)

I doubt it, but I wish it was. I really want to see this.
