So guys - if Bioware announces new DLC addressing our concerns about endings (of course wihout saying how this "addressing" is done) which one of You will buy it instanlty and who will wait for some reviews?

I'll look at the size of the file first. Anything less than a gig is probably gonna be BAD so I'll wait for reviews. If its significantly more than a Gig I'll download it quick probably

I will wait. And if the "reviews" says that this is just a "And thats Why" i dont buy it and will never return to mass effect again in my life.

I dont want a DLC wich just explains what we now have. i really want other endings.

Totally random here... but i hear people talking about adopting krogan babies.
I would pay for Krogan LI DLC ;), even krogans deserve some love :)
And ofcourse we can all find out what Grunts size is all about :P

Paying for the DLC obviously means: Only if the ending gets fixed in a gratifying way. I wont care for the game otherwise.

The adopting Krogan thing comes from Garrus. During your final chat with him, if he was your LI, he would mention finding out what a Turian-Human baby looks like (He wants to have kids tgether, dawwwww)

One of the possible replies is that you would like that, but adoption may be a better option due to biology not being likely to cooperate. Garrus then mentons that there will be a lot of little Krogan running around soon.

People have since taken the idea of Garrus and FemShep adopting baby Krogan and ran with it.

But yea, why don't we ever get a Krogan LI?

My school won't give me proper internet in our dorms (can't stream videos or pandora often) so I won't be able to.

If it's free I'll download immediatly. If it costs money I'll wait for reviews.

Just popping in real quick to say I'm still holding the line.

I will have faith that BioWare will fix this, I just hope my faith is not misplaced. :(

4 days past since my last visit... I came here to see that Bioware in full PR damage control thread is locked. Just because some people said they think professional review sites are paid... People have right to say what they think in democracies. Customers who pay are also entitled to their opinion. It seems Bioware/EA did not like their PR stunts explained to the last detail. And they call it abuse. I tell you what abuse is: You pay a game and learn the game does exactly opposite what you were promised. When you lock threads you actually make people think like: Hey they are afraid of posts. They have something to hide. Sorry but emotional reactions will just decrease your corporate reputation.

As for we listen feedback, we will make our changes compatible with game art... Since endings have nothing to do with the rest of the game changing them won't create "art incompatibilities".

In the end customers are always right. Since fan reviews give a much lower score than "pro"fessional reviews on Metacritic I would say that displeasing customers is not good business.

As a customer I don't want any explanations or justifications. Just fix the ending as it should be. I and others fans... we are here because we care and we want Bioware continue to make quality games. ME3 is decent and with a good ending it could be magnificent. This means more fun for the fans and customers, and increased profit for Bioware (including future games). We provided enough constructive feedback. Fix the ending and be cool people. Just... please be honest with us so I can find the urge to buy more Bioware games in future.

Hold the line!

I really did not play mass effect for 5 years to be happy about an explaination DLC now. And me saying this is a failure at its finest... playing a game for 5 years getting really into it and than.. the team who made the game realeases a DLC to EXPLAIN things.. omg so poor. if they really do that.. oh my god i dont want to think about it.

What kind of POSSIBLE explanation could they come up with? Really? What COULD they explain?

If they do have SOMEONE in their entire building that can explain away that ending they have the best Bull****ter in the world!

I don't think You can explain something unexplainable.

I'd rather Bioware doesn't loose time on "explaining" and focuses on "adding" new endings (as for me - happy-ending is a must).

One other thing id like to bring up again, its been said before, but just to clarify.

I sincerely hope BioWare doesnt keep paying attention to all the critics giving the game a 9/10 or 9.5/10 even and consider this reason enough to just keep things the way things are.

Because as said so many times before... the game IS good. The game is the best game i have played since ages and im a big fan - apart from the ending that is.
Gameplay is solid, Sound is sublime, graphics are just an improved me2, but looks very nice anyway, and the story is mindblowing, up untill the last 10 minutes, i think it would be foolish to rate this game below 9/10. At least to me, and im sure the majority here will agree with me.

I do think bioware understands this, but ill like to say it one more time just for reference.
We dont hate the game, we hate the ending!

I was just about to make a confession that I haven't been playing Mass Effect for 5 years, but then I worked it out I have been playing it for 4 so that's hardly a difference lol. :P

The "positive" side to all of this is i think i am hardened now. I cant see myself watching a movie or playing a game again and be so dissapointed from the ending. Everytime this will happen i (sadly) can say "still a better ending than me3" and then probably laugh about it >_>

Good morning again all. I have to agree with you that I don't want an "explanation" dlc that just tells us why we should enjoy the ending we have - it is just too disconnected from the ME universe for that to make sense.

Though I guess they can always use more Space Magic?

And that is the saddest part...a sci-fi medium that should have gone down as one of the staples of the genre is now gonna be a scathing joke...
