4 days past since my last visit... I came here to see that Bioware in full PR damage control thread is locked. Just because some people said they think professional review sites are paid... People have right to say what they think in democracies. Customers who pay are also entitled to their opinion. It seems Bioware/EA did not like their PR stunts explained to the last detail. And they call it abuse. I tell you what abuse is: You pay a game and learn the game does exactly opposite what you were promised. When you lock threads you actually make people think like: Hey they are afraid of posts. They have something to hide. Sorry but emotional reactions will just decrease your corporate reputation.
As for we listen feedback, we will make our changes compatible with game art... Since endings have nothing to do with the rest of the game changing them won't create "art incompatibilities".
In the end customers are always right. Since fan reviews give a much lower score than "pro"fessional reviews on Metacritic I would say that displeasing customers is not good business.
As a customer I don't want any explanations or justifications. Just fix the ending as it should be. I and others fans... we are here because we care and we want Bioware continue to make quality games. ME3 is decent and with a good ending it could be magnificent. This means more fun for the fans and customers, and increased profit for Bioware (including future games). We provided enough constructive feedback. Fix the ending and be cool people. Just... please be honest with us so I can find the urge to buy more Bioware games in future.
Hold the line!
