I'm in my 2nd time through the game and was loving it. Then Thessia happens. Knowing how the game ends makes it hard to want to continue from this point. Before there were so many lil pockets of hope and emotionally charged moments that the game was just utterly awesome. Now...Shepard is feeling the pressure and I hate to push her through to the crappy ending. She and Kaiden should just run away and hide together.

Don't feel that way! The only reason I'm in IT is because my husband is amazing at it. Just read the codex entry on Mass Relays. It says primary relays can only connect to other relay but can travel much greater distances and most are left inactive as we don't know where they lead.. Most relays used in the game are secondary as they connect to lots of relays.

Probable lead in to ME4? (providing ofc the ending is fixed!)

(although, again, I read somewhere that any more games set in the ME universe would be set before the time of Shep, is this correct?)

Yeah, the possibility to have Shep and LI alive seems important to many fans.

I want my Shep and Kaidan to be together, or at least have the option of having a "happy" ending together. Again, I vote for a range of endings, dependant on EMS etc and then everyone can go for different endings. At least that way there's choice again.

Well theres no confirmation where any ME game would be set, though I admit some of the Me2 cerberus network news stories could make an interesting plot, it would still be, whats the point you all die in a year anyway, you can argue whats the point of anything anyway since nothing lasts forever but I would hope somthing lasts more than a year anyway

Those are very good points, and if the relays were turned off they wouldn't have been linked to and destroyed.

I'm not entirely sure about the ME universe setting, though. I mean right now Bioware has a lot of thinking to do in terms of where they can set the next ME games. Nobody wants to play anything prior to ME3 anymore thanks to these terrible endings, right? You'd just be playing a character who was gonna die in a few years :l

Give me my happy ending. Give me a terrible ending. Give me a bittersweet ending. Make my choices be of some value. Show me the universe after the ending(s). Make the ending logical. We don't want pink elephants with wings walking on two legs. We want a conclusion to a 5 years long journey in the best game ever created (yes i truly think so). Say NO to whoever pulls the strings and ruined the ending. Just DELIVER YOUR BEST.
