We don't want pink elephants with wings walking on two legs. We want a conclusion to a 5 years long journey in the best game ever created (yes i truly think so). Right now? Definitely not interested. Can't say I wouldn't become curious in the future, but I sure wouldn't be running out keen beans to get it either way.

Not at all. What is the point in playing a prequel when you know that a few years later everyone will be dead and all you have done is just for the bin?

If they don't add various endings and don't deliver to their promises they will have permanently lost me as a customer.

Later today I am going to send an e-mali to contact@bioware.com explaining above and why I have canceled my SWTOR subscription (hint: it is out of protest due to the ME ending

No not really. The games as they stand revolve around Shepard and if they want Shepard's story to end then they need to do something beyond Shepard. Any prequels will just be a build up to what we already have..... and we all know how that ends.....

It's weird that this Child's Play thing is still getting so much press. People were stupid and didn't read the information available before donating money. Seriously, donating money to fix the game... that thought process didn't ring alarm bells for those individuals?

Didn't think so, it just kind of popped in to my head, since I find it bizarre so many Germans still have this cultural/national shame hanging over them, even though they had nothing to do with the events, and even if their grandparents had, at least I don't see how they could not have had. It's a dark time in history, but that's just the thing, it's history, happened, and hopefully someone learns something from it.

But the main point being, Europeans tend to not take offense, unless offense was clearly meant. Just because the AI childghostgod offers options which have similarities to holocaust and ethnich cleansings, is not enough reason for us to take offense, since it's clearly just bad writing, nothing more. Well, that's what I think, can't really say for whole Europe, since they have yet to vote me the ultimate superior being and the Empress of the World

As betrayed and angry as I feel right now its the same for me. I will not not touch any kind of prequel content in this lifetime.

Indeed, but they're really nice about it, how they tell us afterwards how this law took years or preparation, and that's why citicens hear about it for the first time after it has been passed. 

...a bit like this whole ending mess. Huh. Who would've figured, EU = Bioware.

So my buddy finally finished the game this weekend. He was disappointed. He just felt like the entire series was a waste of time. We both came to the conclusion to not let another friend of ours to buy the game since the ending will just make him rage.

Rather I should say that we are advising our friend not to buy it. Sad that is the case but unless new endings come out, I can't recommend the game.

I did think, before all this went south, that I might try SWTOR. The voice-acting and story elements appealed to my mmo-jaded heart. And, of course, it was by Bioware!

Now, however, I wouldn't touch it with a barge-pole. I'd probably get to the end game content only to find my character was Darth Vader and I was about to destroy the galaxy....

That was part of the Promotion for the  Take Back Earth Trailer which premired on the Walked  Dead... so that made sense... 

everything.... no so much. 

 Ashley is just pure facepalm that just... I don't even know... how do miss something like that...
