Does Liara get stranded too? That could potentially solve the population problem....if she has one child with each crew member >.> <.< Then these children grow and breed with unrelated crew members...

It would lead to a lot of Asari- and they have serious issues from inbreeding (look at the Ardat-Yakshi), so it may not be a good thing.

I feel really sorry for Liara, since she's only 100. There are no other Asari there, or Krogan, so she'll just grow older and older, watching everyone she comes to love die over and over and over and over again.

At least the 2012 ending has some glimer of immidiate hope. All ME3 are clinically depressing, or only present hope millions of years in the future when relay technology is re-established.

It's the fact the Eezo technology no longer works is the kick in the teeth.

Doing new scenes would require calling the VA back as well as a lot of CG work.

No, they could call back one VA or two maybe, and then just do a bunch of stills like in Fallout and have a narrative.

It would have to match the style of the other endings or it would look really tacked on.

At least in my new and revised headcanon.

Pretty sure Xoisite confirmed that doesn't happen.

You know, none of these characters are returning to a BioWare game ever again. What's so wrong with them getting stranded?

That's not true, you'll get to kill them and steal their pants in the MMO.

No! No talk of an MMO! I will really hate it if they do another TOR stunt

As far as we know, only the relays are beeing destroyed. E-Zero-Tech still works. But as E-Zero-FTL will only speed up to max. 10x Lightspeed it would take a lifetime to reach most other star systems.

Eezo tech still works, it's just the relays that are destoyed in sending out the pulse in doing whatever it is you chose.

From there:

You need to let them do everything they think they should do, and you can't block them from doing anything they think they should be able to do. You have to nail all the features and content that should be in that possibility space."

"Mass Effect is a big possibility space."

the end of ME1 it gave you a brief picutre of shepard standing there in your ending amor in a cool pose.  It wouldn't be a stretch to take that and add some text with a brief explanation and then change the characters and explanations.

How can they possibly make an MMO for Mass Effect or even any more games in the setting? They just destroyed the whole setting by wiping out all the Mass Relays.

So the "best" ending would have the worst quality? Yeah, really a reward there...

I'm just going to put this out here, because I don't want to read 246 pages to see if someone else has said it already.

Have you guys considered that the 'leaked' stuff wasn't leaked at all? Maybe BioWare is playing the misinformation game to get all of us riled up. It seams a bit unusual, and coincidental how much has made it out. Small details, or explainable things (like the Beta demo, courtesy of XBox Live) I could understand. But a script? Please. Yes, the parts of script that people are MOST interested in gets 'accidentally' leaked, that sounds completely genuine.

Correct me if I'm wrong, or talking about something else, but wasn't it BioWare Russia that leaked it? Hmm, key work B-i-o-W-a-r-e.

To prevent this post from going on for pages and pages I will simply end with this:
I think you get my point.

Yeah, Xio confirmed that's not the case.  Just the relays don't work... and your crew is stranded trillions of miles away from anywhere without a ship.

They're smart enough to realize that:
1) If they did, many people would (correctly) read between the lines that they were confirming the ending was a turd, and many more people would cancel their orders.  Right now people are canceling their orders based on what LOOKS like the endings are.  Providing any substance towards confirmation of that would result in a new batch of cancellations.
2) Anything they said, other than "Guys there is a happy ending [or other endings] you're all missing, we hid it, just hang on" would be picked apart ruthlessly and provide fresh ammunition to the discussion.  They're just hoping the discussion will burn itself out and you'll fork over your money, which at the end of the day is all that matters.

The only hope we have, again aside from this being a massive pre-planned mega troll by hiding the good endings, is for word to get out after people play the final product (including all patches) and the reviews rip it apart, followed by people selling their copies back to retailers so sales which would otherwise have been of new games become used game sales instead (which would not benefit Bioware).  At that point they'll do a DA2 and be forced to face that maybe they made a mistake.

Obviously you have never seen real death in real ife - however you appear to be an expert on video game death.  That's really, really nice on paper - but here in the real world it doesn't work like that. Even terminal cancer patients are nowhere near this garbage you posted.

Probably because they are laughing at it.  People say they aren't commenting because it's all true.  I say it's because we don't have all the context (in game dialogue and scenes).  They are definitely reading it, however.  I imagine the change in policy came from people *physically threatening* the Walter and Casey.

I hear your point Jaffa, but I don't think context is going to be the redeeming grace on this.  Context would be more "lipstick on a pig" than a satisfying meal.

Yup, it'd end up being a planet full of blue-skinned people with oddly shaped heads and creepy eyes. And Liara's descendents.
