The only sensible course of action if they try and flim-flam their way out of it is to simply get up and leave the seminar. Bioware talking to a half-empty room will have more impact than any disruptive tactics, I'm sure.

This bears reposting as it is quite apt.

At this point I am thinking an Enhanced Edition would be preferable to a tacked on set of endings. They would definately get increased sales of later DLC.

If we hear that shots were fired, I probably shouldn't be suprised at this time. No matter how you look at it: anything in the eyes of anyone is art. From book writers to thieves (both petty and masterminds) to serial killers, in their eyes, it's art. And it doesn't matter how fancy that "art" is, if it isn't up to scratch, then they're not going to get anything away with it.

"it's art" is not a viable excuse, and for someone to bring it up as a form of defense really needs to look around. If "it's art" IS a viable excuse, then doesn't that mean that we can punch Casey in the face and then follow that up with "it's art. Therefore I'm off the hook"? In the scale of things, if BW really think that they can get away with using art as their riot shield, then  I think they'll find that they're fending off a group of enraged people with a paper plate, not a shield.

This will happen because map packs don't require writing, voice acting, cutscenes or anything else. They are the cheapest DLC to produce next to appearance packs

I think everyone standing up and walking out of the room in silence at that moment would have the strongest impact myself. Up to that point they may have been trying to fool themselves into thinking that the reaction to the end wasn't as bad as it seemed. Having a large group of people simply walking away will show them how wrong they were....

Incidently, I'm also for the idea of treating any Bioware staff with the upmost compassion and civility for the remainder of PAX...Console them about their company having gone out of business, and reasure them that they should have no problems finding new jobs with other developers...


Same holds if they used the 'clarrify' or 'explination' line regarding the ending.

i frequent some dubious websites which i cant name nor link due to them being illegal
(ripper sites if you know what i mean)
well apprently theres maps already on disk which will be sold, some of the posters there say theres a map based on the ground floor of the offices on ilos from LOTSB package, i myself find it rather sketchy but these were the sites that uncovered the from ashes dlc and code to enter to enable it.

but in essence we all know that the map packs, alterative apperance packs and a load of multiplayer stuff is already on disk.

but i swear they will announce a buttfeck of multiplayer stuff and next to NONE single player stuff

Made me laugh. But nah if BW don't even announce any plans to consider changing or adding to the endings and just try and spam a 'buy multiplayer dlc' what happend on these forums a week or so will seem like a gentle summer breeze compared to the typhoon that will sweep the internet if us Retake people don't have our questions answered.

Ultimatly at boils down to a simple yes no question. Are you even thinking of changin the end, if BW are then i'm fairly sure that all the loyal fans here at retake will be more than happy to wait however long it takes to get a new ending dlc released

I just gave an ethics presentation today for my technical writing classs, and our group topic was Bioware and the ending controversy. All went really well, and our professor said that our topic generated more questions than all the previous groups in the previous day combined.
