I agree. The goodbyes...:crying:

I'm not really a shooter person either. But I've improved since ME1...hould've seen me when I played it for the first time. Now I rarely die..I think I only died during the fight with Kai Lang, and that was because I had no idea what I was doing for a whole second and then he killed me.I hated him <_<

Yep. I'm not a shooter person. And not a Multiplayer person either. I really think that they should also give us an "MP opt-out update". Something optional to those who, like me, just can't play MP. This could re-balance the points needed for perfect endings if you opt out of MP.

I think it would be fair with a gazillion fans.

On 1st April there will be an announcement about new ending DLC which will be made humorous like "Spill drinks on the Citadel with your buddy's and LI, have blue babies with Liara" and so on as a hoax.
Then on PAX there will be a power point about the plotholes with minor explanation to fix some plot holes and then they will go on advertising mode and beg you to buy MP-DLC.
I really don't hope that they will do it but I somehow feel it will be true,,,

The thread growth has declined horribly since Muzyka's statement. Day by day, I not only seem to lose hope. I seem to care less.

I have just completed Mass Effect 3 again with the same (destroy) ending, EMS at < 6000 and a 100% GRR. Somehow, I seem to be at peace with how the **** went through.

That was up until the Normandy scene. Made my blood boil again.

It's still going steady at about a page every ten minutes from what I've seen. That's still impressive if you ask me

Oh, can't do MP either. First I don't have Xbox Live Gold (and won't get it just for ME, nope). Second, I don't like multiplayer. Third, I would die after a couple of minutes lol

I played it in narrative too, and I thought it was so much easier in ME3 than other ME games. Then I played the second time in regular RPG mode, and that was fine too, because I already knew what to do (yes, I went through ME3 twice, but not the ending. My Shep is currently staring at the galaxy map right before final mission)

someone talked about the reason of the thread posting decline yesterday. i think up to this point, we've pretty much done everything we can. or can think of at least. and now- it's just a waiting game. which frustrates a lot of people. and a lot are just trying to find something different to do for the time. it worries me as well, but i do understand it. but if i wouldn't be here posting, the waiting would drive me insane. i don't like waiting. and i don't like considering the hope bioware may have that if they let us wait long enough- we just end up not caring anymore.
which will of course come back to bite them one day. consumer trust has been shaken. no one who was part of this movement will just continue to buy stuff from bioware/ea when they remember everything that happened. they'll at least think twice about it..

and bla.. sorry, i can't focus at the moment..

edit: not to mention all the people that are only lurking at the moment. 'because' there is not much left to say at this point. you could say that we did our part and are just waiting for biowares reaction. if it isn't what we're hoping for- i do think there'll be another backlash. but it won't be with the same force anymore. many are just writing off bioware for good and don't actually have the will to carry this on any further.

Anybody else got that feeling?

I'm with both of you on the mp issue.  If I ever play ME3 again I think that's where I'll 'end' it too Image IPB

I completely agree.  When one of them said 'I don't think I've ever seen this before' talking about trying to change the ending.  We've all given so many examples of when that's happened.  I think they genuinely don't understand but do not want to look farther into it.  They liked the ending and moved on.  Can't blame them for that either.  Just frustrating.  Image IPB

same here. gave me quite a shudder. as if we're some rare excotic animal at the zoo and they might know which country we're coming from by reading the plate on the cage, but they can't wrap their heads around how we could even possible exist.

oh god, i need to stop it with those weird analogies..

It really was to be expected. Now, it will surely pick up again after PAX, but what we will be talking about it dependant on what is going to be told to us. Either a victorious chant or renewed vigour to continue the fight.

And yeah, at this point most people (probably, making a generalization based on how i feel) have either lost hope, stopped caring, or both. What is not good, but like i said, it was to be expected.

I haven't been able to actually realy even play either ME3 or any other game. Only thing i have played since i finisehd the game over 2 weeks ago is few hours of SP (NG+) and some ME3 co-op.

Man i feel empty. BioWare, you really did a good job at making us care about the universe and characters you created, but you REALLY dropped the bomb at the end of it all, with that awful ending.
One thing i am fairly certain of, i will not buy another BioWare game again.

I know the feeling. :crying:

But I do insist that an "opt-out of MP" would be a nice gesture from BW. Forcing MP down one's throat is bad. And saying "well, you can just not play it" doesn't cut. If I don't play MP, I don't get the necessary points. And I think that's bad for a franchise that was first and foremost a SP game one.

An "Opt out" would just redistribute points, as in increasing what's gained in every mission. To the point that I could get the perfect ending without being forced to play MP.

It would be optional. No damage to those who love MP and liked it in ME3. But I don't like it, bought all the games, and I think I should get the chance of a perfect ending without MP.

You made me laugh.  And I'd like to also point out when Adam is talking about how it speaks about our culture, who's was he talking about?  Cause from what I can see it kind of touches a LOT of different cultures Image IPB

It's not like that.

People are just regaining strenght, waiting patiently for Bioware and will all be back once we know something certain.

Even though it might be bit slower we all should keep faith. Bioware knows what's at stake and after last two weeks they what to expect if things get out of hand.

...if they don't fix this ending, that's the next thing I'm going to get mad at Bioware. Currently, the horrible ending is top priority, but after that, that EMS bs is the main problem.

Actually, even if they fix the ending but keep the requirement to 4000 ems, I am going to ask an official proof that it is possible to get all that war asset without mp. Seriously.
