Tried going through the game a second time and couldn't get past Thessia level knowing what will happen. Ended up downloading the launch trailer which is the best one of the three. After it I got really sad. I hope Bioware remakes a new ending because right now some good news for the game is what I need.

Nothing wrong with a bit of self promotion! Heck I've been poking around the terms and conditions trying to see if I can post a link to the podcast I recorded with my friend about the ME3 ending (he actually liked it...the weirdo!)

Besides I'd totally read your fan fiction, any ending with no space magic is worth reading. :D

I'll PM you the link and I'd like to here your podcast.  Fair trade?

Would you PM me them both? I'm always looking for good ME fanfics and various views on the endings ^_^

I'd love to tell you what happens next. I really would. But unfortunately, the build was so incomplete that no matter what choice I made, the story wouldn't continue and after the cutscene of whatever I chose occurred I'd be right back where I started, ready to pick again.

So, bascially no change

i think CM punk will kill jerico btw

Sigh... I've been attempting a second playthrough for a bit now. I roll my eyes everytime I get a citadel defense war asset. Wtf is the point of that? Seriously? How does it help EMS if they're all eventually dead?

It's just... so bad. God it's so bad. I could have done such a better a job directing this, just being honest...

In my current playthrough, I'm just denying the ending's existence, and I haven't looked at that terminal once. It almost feels like before...

The War Assets seem pointless to me...maybe I'm missing something but why do they actually matter?

Also I could have done a better job too, and I know bugger all about designing games

How about you jump to your conclusions on the ending once the game is released and not based on a script leak that is months old? Personally, bioWare would be shooting itself in the foot if there was no "happy" ending.

It should be difficult as heck to get, because you're fighting Reapers, not your kittens. If it's too easy to get (like "No one left behind, got it on my first run through") then it's pointless. Bittersweet? I would accept that.

Adds a replayability to it if you want your perfect ending. There has to be some consequences somewhere, this game is based on choices, options and morality. If you cut corners and expect the perfect ending, you're in for a surprise.

If there is no happy ending, I'm sure BioWare is expecting a trove of hate from the fans and maybe a huge drop in their profits because no one is going to keep buying their games if they emotionally invest players for 8+ years just to troll them. Would be a bad business move.

I need my happy ending, but I expect to work for it and I hope I'm not disapointed on how to obtain it. Even if I have to replay the damned game over and over and suffer through horrid heartbreak until I find the ending I'm happy with.

but there is no happy ending... poor prediction form you

Also I wish with the ending regarding the battle of the combined fleet vs the rEApers that you could control the Normandy and take part in it. That would be awesome. If not some more cut scenes of the battle. Just saying .

I don't understand why becoming one witht the reapers would be the best choice...I don't wanna be a Reaper/synthetic; I want my Shep and the rest of the galaxy to remain as how they are...

Plus, I just read the codex, which says the combined fire of four dreadnoughts should destroy a reaper's barriers. So how come so few of them went down in the space battle?

Hmm. You're right. We never really got a chance to drive a vehicle in ME3 like the Mako in ME1 and the Hammerhead in ME2. Making that vehicle the Normandy would have been awesome... And controlling Joker one last time.... Image IPB

I still don't see how anyone can consider synergy a good ending, you are playing god and removing self determination, the series itself is about self determination, but putting it simpler, did anyone bother to ask the rest of the races if they want to become cyborgs?

Two weeks later and only now am I starting to think Bioware didn't even consider the whole "Sword fleets starving to death inside Sol" business.

I mean really, is anyone actually happy knowing they brought all those races with them only to condemn them all to the worst death imaginable? Starvation is one of the worst things I can think of, and the cannibalism everyone would be resorting to is pretty horrifying to think about.

I mean really Bioware, do you have any idea what kind of situation you left behind in your endings? I'm more horrified about what you made me do than anything you've ever shown the reapers doing..

My last muse for the night;

It seems that on average every person who has bought and finished the game has turned at least 3 other people away from buying it. Of those three at least one was considering buying one or both of the earlier games.

So, that means that Bioware has lost three times more potential customers than people who bought the game to date - or put another way if the game's ending wasn't a steaming pile of crud they could potentially have total sales figures not that far off the Call of Duty series due to word of mouth sales.

It also, logically, means that they have lost the same number of potential ME2/ME1 sales as they got ME3 sales. Which could have potentially driven the series as a whole towards sales figures equal to or better than the average block (Box?) buster titles....

Yeah...not so much a case of shooting oneself in the foot there...more a case of throwing oneself feet first into a woodchipper.

Ouch!
