Now that I think about it, its something to be proud of.
Think about it, like the guy said Bioware has gotten alot of flack over the years on their games. From anti gays to a conglemeration of other groups that they've pissed off.
Then they screwed with our ending.
Its like a sleeping giant woke up, shoved all groups asside and taught them all how you REALLY make a buisness quail at sheer NERD RAGE!!!!
LOL I love that last line - but I think all of the gaming world is watching this closely. The genie is out of the bottle - I think we'gve gotten to the point as gamers - we're not going to take the crap that's just been shovelled at us.
There is few more things that is wrong with the game - but because the parts that were done right; were done so right its easily to over look that other stuff......aka broken quest jouneral; LI or lack of them - or lack of conversations with LI.
I felt after thessia - in how we failed; there that point would of been perfect if you had a LI to grab ahold of you and pick you up - and pick them up if its Liara......missed op but - that's my opinion......
Stuff like Mordin dieing - aka genophage cure was amazing - Legion and Tali.......bringing peace if you did that....Amazing - other parts of the game really was amazing.
It literally does come undone in the last ten minutes. The whole point of ME1 - thrown out with those simple words - I control the Reapers......
That's why I've always had the theory - this ending is that bad - so disjointed that it was done on purpose - BW was insanely, brillantly trying not to just indoctrinate our shepards - but us as their audience too.
They failed on that exacution though - one of the biggest reasons; Ipad app - that app should of been on all platforms; not just Ipad - they had several things you could do on it. Messages from LI after the game ended which hints your alive and in the hospital. Almost no one saw them though. PR did what they could through Twitter - but honestly that app could of been used for so much more PR - more hints - it would of been able to somewhat hold back the tide.
Another problem is - I don't think BW was ready for how fast people beat the game - because of the broken quest journal I missed some side quests - but still the game even without feel of being polished rocked.....until the star child....
Is it so bad its unfixable? no way - Do I think BW can fix this easily - and they easiest way to write their way out of this is - indoctrination - there are some that don't like the idea - but if you want expanded ending that literally is the only way out.......
That's the best way they could go - any other way; scrapping the ending would also create backlash from those that like it.....
