Just threw up a random question.

Assuming the endings were like you thought they would be but the game would stay the same right before londond like it is.
Would you replay it?
I won't replay it as much as Mass Effect 1 and 2.
Why?
Simple, the whole Story left not much diversity imho.
It's like a one shot wonder imho.
Genophage cure/betrayel. Genius but somhow.. meh.
Palaven... a lot of potential wasted there.
Citadel attack. One of the "I don't really like it" missions.
Rannoch? Brilliant but again. meh
Thessia?
Short and... meh
Cerberus attack?
Meh
London?
Meh...
Just befor London it sums up most of the things what happened.
But they somehow left a lot of details out.
I admit I was surprised to meet conrad and that he got safed by the undercover c-sec girl at coras dent if you did the mission in 1.
But such moments where to rarely.
I know its impossible to wrap all that minor sidestorys but it was not enough.

Yes if the endings were as I wanted I would replay it quite a bit because honestly? I loved it right up till I met the god child, then I was just confused, then upset, then angry, then confused, then upset....lol

But yes I would definitey replay it a lot if it had decent endings.

Shepard activating the crucible (without star child).
Every Reaper get destroyed (but relays are intact).
(But only with about 3000 War assets or more)
The breathing Scene is appearing.
Liara(or other LI or Bro) jumps from rubble to rubble just to find shepard.
She holds him in that state.
(Now depending on war assets)
(5000k or more)
Shepard survived, s/he claims LIs hand and asked "Is it over?".
LI/Bro is looking deep into Shepars eyes just answering "Yes"..

I have only ever re-written one thing from my old stuff. Well it wasn't really re-written as such, I just borrowed the concept because I needed an idea. I like leaving my older stuff the way it is, I love being able to see where I was when I started to where I am now. In a few years I'll probably be saying the same things again.

Hey, thanks so much for explaining that! That's quite a backstory to have left out of the game, but I guess it would have taken time to go through (a codex entry would have helped a lot though). They could have gone in a lot of interesting directions with those concepts.

I would, as it's part of the trilogy, and I did enjoy it the first time through. It's true that focusing so much on the ending has taken the heat off the flaws of the rest of the game, but I think I could handle those. It definitely does have quite a different feel from the other two games though, which is probably a lot to do with the war atmosphere. For instance, the only place you can land outside of missions is the Citadel - the galaxy feels a lot smaller in that regard. But you know, being super-optimistic, if there were ever a chance to play out some of the rebuilding process post-war (assuming better endings obviously), that would go a long way towards redeeming it.

Gosh that sounds like the first chapter of my ending.  'Cept Shep's walking back to the FOB while bleeding to death.  Sad times.  Sad times.

There is engineer that needs a big house built on Rannoch and this house will be built... dang namit.  So no  Shepard can't die Shepard still has a lot of living to do for blue babies, rocker babies and building houses.

Yeah, I know how you feel.  I've only been writing fic since 2010 and each one seems to get longer and more complex.  And they said writing fan fiction never got anyone anywhere.  LOL!

I wish i could....some of the things during the game itself in combination especially with the ending totally killed replayability for me. Started it up again 3 times so far and at most i managed to finish the mars mission. simply to many things everywhere that screams to me they actually just stopped caring and it was just another job to get over with....sigh...

Sad thing is that if this ending debacle never had happened i might not have been that bothered by most of those things..at least not until after a few replays...

Were did it all go so wrong...

Seriously though...that's pretty similar to the way I imagine the game ended. For some reason I can't remember the actual ending. The last thing I remember is Anderson dying...and then I woke up in front of my laptop looking at BSN. Weird.
