It's pretty visceral. Or so I hear. Yet, I'm catching a lot of flack for it on dA. I hope you liked it at least. And I'm not even finished with it. Much to do. Much to do.

No sir... no. I SAID NO! SHEPARD IS ALIVE, AND LITTLE BLUE BABIES ARE COMING.
Or, if you're like me and romanced Jack.. ROCKER BABIES ARE COMING.
Or if you're me and romanced Garrus adopting bunches of little headbutting krogan.
Or like me and having little blue babies, and other little war orphans without any parents, including a baby Krogan~! xD Uncle Wrex will be so happy that Shep's taking care of the kid that he'll imediately make him a member of Clan Urdnot with Grunt as his Battle Master when he joins the clans on whatever planet they settle on, since Tuchunka is technically no longer habitable.

Yeah, I know how you feel. I've only been writing fic since 2010 and each one seems to get longer and more complex. And they said writing fan fiction never got anyone anywhere. LOL!
I never understand the whole "fan fiction never got anyone anywhere" argument. I started out writing fan fiction. I got an interview at university to study writing off the back of a fan fiction piece I sent in. I might have also faithfully adapted the start of Silent Hill 2 on one of my screenwriting courses when I was out of ideas once......
Now I've written a couple short films and have a web series in the pipeline. But yeah, fan ficiton didn't get me anywhere.

Most of my followers on dA liked the ending and it has become a bone of contention with several of them. Especially when I told them under no uncertain terms that if they wanted to argue the endings don't do it in the comments to the piece do it in the journal entry I had set up. It's just respect you know.
Most just PM'd me and asked why I'd retcon the "good" endings and I told them why (for all the reasons we already know) but that wasn't enough.
While others are awaiting chapter 2 and asking why I didn't write the endings for BW.
Everyone's entitled to their opinion and this is the best way for me to vent my frustrations at the whole kit'n kaboodle. That and I like writing so they can bash me all they want for it. Doesn't bother me one iota. I'm spending my energies on better things.

Well, congrats on your successes.
I find it ironic that some writers for developers take writers from the fan fiction community because they wrote a story better than them. Some have gotten contracts w/ publishing contracts with major publishers for book deals.
I however doubt I'm that awesome. As much as I pat myself on the back for a job well done the reality is a far more cruel mistress.

Leaked DLC ending
gawd....i had almost managed to forget how much of the actual end was taken up with limping so...very...slowly...not going to say slower than my old grandmother since she has been dead for 16 years and was cremated to boot.....but strip away the time spent on limping and there is not really that much time left on the ending.

Disturbing? How so? Too detailed? I'm really really curious now. No one's ever said my writing was disturbing before.
Don't lose hope it will be happier by the end. Many a hiccup along the way but like Shepard always does she overcomes and in the end all is well.

I know I know. It was like an amusing slow motion trainwreck. I ended up laughing at them most of the time because of those same words and "deep".
The only comeback I could rationalize was:
The endings were so shallow it was almost like depth.

got it bookmarked away for college later on
@nevara: had some of the same drama after i posted a few retake posters.. but i seriously couldn't be bothered with them. just told them that dA wasn't the place to discuss something like that, at least not for me. some of the people didn't even watch me or anything. pretty much just appeared out of the blue. i usually don't have the nerve for something like that.. if they don't like it that's completely fine for me. not like i'm asking or forcing them to make any of the retake work their effin background or something. but blargh.. sorry, still a little croggy. :'D

Disturbing in how detailed you get, but that just made me want to add a bit of carnage in mine so thanks~! xD
And of course Shepard can over come any obstacle! Even cross speices relationships, and children!

Reality is indeed a cruel mistress. That's why I ignore her when I can get away with it.
