You don't think Bioware will complain about the cupcakes and we'll have to defend their artistic integrity do you?[/quote]
this is the type of thing, that if the bioware folks at PAX are smart, they'll allude to.....
see some retake fokls in the crowd start out with 'i'd like to say, thanks for the cupcakes.....they were moist and delicious, but left a bad aftertaste'

Now here is an idea;
Everyone going to PAX should take their Copy(s) of ME3 along with them. If they Bioware says nothing, or tries to 'clarrify' the ending, they could dump all of their copies in a big bag in front of the press and BW. Then take the bag to the nearest games store, trade them in and donate the money raised to charity. Maybe couple that with a silent walk out, with someone standing by the door with the bag for them to drop their copies into....
Would be great to actually coordinate that. I'm fairly sure actually SEEING their fans walking out on them would have a much bigger impact than these 2500 plus pages we have here.
I live in PR and I'm not going to PAX but hell, if someone has the drive to coordinate something like this I'm all for it^_^

That would be a great Idea... I believe there is a PAX group for the people from the movement going to PAX.. Someone needs to give them a heads up. Use the facebook to coordinate this... damn I wish I was going to Pax..

I think I remebered reading something about this pic on the retake mass effect web site. However they disproved it and said it was just a fake doctored photo.
Edit: Yeah what the person above me posted.

Here's what I think would be a good example of an epilogue:
For the Krogan and Salarians
1. If you didn't cure the genophage and tricked the Krogan, then the Krogan finds out at the end that you used them and they are extremely angry. Even though the Reaper invasion is over, the galaxy is left fractured with Krogan factions calling for revenge against the Salarian Union. Krogans are now attempting to replicate Maelon's experiments and
attempting to cure the Genophage themselves. Galactic community are now
trying to sabotage these attempts to prevent a future Krogan Rebellion.
2. If you cured the genophage but killed Eve, then the Krogan are grateful however Wrex and other Krogan clan leaders have started demanding a seat in the Council and other planets for their expanding population. Wrex is not able to curb the demands of the Krogan clans and the galaxy looks on nervously at the developing situation.
3. If you cured the genophage and saved Eve, then the Krogan flourishes into a Renaissence under the leadership of Wrex and Eve. As the Krogan Empire grows, they are slowly demanding a greater voice in galactic politics, while the Salarian Union watches nervously at the Krogan expansion.
4. If you tried to trick the Krogans and failed, the Krogans are now attempting to replicate Maelon's experiments and attempting to cure the Genophage themselves. Galactic community are now trying to sabotage these attempts to prevent a future Krogan Rebellion.
For Quarian and Geth
1. If you wipe out the Geth, the random pockets of still indoctrinated Geth have fled into the far reaches of the galaxy. They view organics as enemies and are trying to regroup to wage a war against the weakened organics after the Reaper invasion.
2. If you chose the Geth and wipe out the Quarian, Admiral Xen and several Quarian liveships escaped during the battle and the Quarians have vowed revenge against the Geth and humans for not siding with them. Xen is working diligently on technological breakthroughs that would allows the Quarians to hack the geth and use them as an artificial army.
3. If you are able to gain peace between the Geth and Quarians, then the Geth and Quarians cooperate and rebuilt Rannoch. The Quarians are able to roam their home world without an environmental suit, however they still require the suits when traveling off world. With the advent of the first truly liberated AI species in galactic politics, the Council is watching cautiously over the situation and assessing whether the Geth can truly be trusted.
For Asari and Turians:
1. If the player was able to recruit the Krogans to help the Turians, then they suffered significant losses to their numbers. But with Krogan support, the Turians were able to evacuate their large number of civilians and they have began rebuilding. The Human Alliance has gained a new ally in the Galactic Council for brokering the alliance between the Turian Empire and the Krogan forces.
2. If the player was not able to recruit the Krogans to aid the Turians, then the Turian forces have been decimated and their military influence on galactic politics has waned.
3. If the player has done enough of the Asari sidequests (Library of Asha, the Monastery, Asari Biotic Amp Upgrades), then the Asari culture has evolved as the Reaper invasion revealed that the Asari is not equipped to deal with a full scale military invasion. The Asari High Command has shifted their culture and has begun training more Asari Commando forces among their Maidens. The increase in the number of Asari commandos has preserved the Asari's place in the galactic community, since the other races does not dare question the Asari High Command for hiding the Prothean Beacon.
4. If the player did not complete enough of the Asari sidequests. The Asari remains the galactic peacemaker in the galaxy. The revelation of the Prothean Beacon has upset the balance of galactic politics and the Asari no longer holds its status in the galactic community as they once did before.
For Earth (Depending on EMS):
1. With a very low EMS, Earth is decimated and the Human Alliance loses significant influence in the galactic community as they do not have the resources to maintain their place in the Council and rebuilt Earth. Humans lose their seat in the Council.
2. With a medium EMS, Earth is saved and the Human Alliance is slowly rebuilding its military and Earth. With their resources concentrated on rebuilding, the Human's influence on the galaxy has waned but they retain their seat in the Council.
3. With a high EMS, Earth is saved and the Human Alliance is rebuilding its military and is lending aid to other races where it can. Human influence did not grow or wane and they retain their seat in the Council.
4. With insane amounts of EMS, Earth is saved and the Human Alliance is able to rebuild and increase their influence in galactic politics since they were the leader of all the other races in the Reaper invasion. Humans have now an even greater voice in the Council and galactic happenings.
For the Reapers (Depending on EMS):
1. With low EMS, the building of the Crucible found a way to defeat the Reapers and the Crucible destroyed Harbinger and a few of the Sovereign class Reapers. The Reapers are defeated and they have retreated back into Dark Space. They are readying themselves and developing a plan against the Crucible. The galactic community is now trying to learn more about the Reapers and devising a way to permanently defeat them, since they realize that the Crucible would no longer be effective against the Reapers in the next invasion.
2. With medium EMS, the Crucible allowed the galactic races to destroy most of the Sovereign class Reapers and the Reaper forces have retreated back into dark space. The galactic community is now trying to learn more about the Reapers and devising a way to permanently defeat them, since they realize that the Crucible would no longer be effective against the Reapers in the next invasion.
3. With high EMS, the Reaper forces on Earth was completely decimated, however the Reapers harvesting the other systems have escaped back into dark space to group. The galactic community is now trying to learn more about the Reapers and devising a way to permanently defeat them, since they realize that the Crucible would no longer be effective against the Reapers in the next invasion.
For Mass Relays:
After the revelation that the Mass Relays were actually built by the Reapers to control the galactic community and organic evolution, the Council has decided to start researching and building their own Mass Relays so that the Relays would no longer be dictated by Reaper technology.
Sorry for the wall of text, but I think those endings would have been better than our current endings. All of the endings are varied but are still open enough for the next chapter of Mass Effect. There is still a possibility of galactic conflict between the races, the next chapter can reveal more about the nature of the Reapers and also allow the writers to flush out the theories, and the ending would also set the stage that the current Mass Relays should be deactivated and a new Mass Relay network be rebuilt without blowing every Mass Relay to pieces and creating giant plot holes.
