But....but....but....I wanted Pikachu!

You'll have to wait for the Game of the Year Edition then.  It comes with citadel kid who follows you around the entire journey! Image IPB

I couldn't go to PAX East this year.  Work doesn't allow for it.  Nor does my editor on my freelance job.  One of the guys I work with lives in England.  Wanted to come for E3 and Comic-con, couldn't scrape together the 5k it would have cost to get from Manchester to LA and back again.

That reminds me, I haven't spoken to him in alittle while.  Hope he's alright.

Haha! Or the yellow ending to come out as a DLC...
I just realized that I always pick Charmander and I picked red for ME3 ending. This is accurate B)

I may have gone a bit overboard with the "stupid" England part. It has its upsides. But our gaming/general geek conventions suck.

S'ok.. I grew up watching Star Trek and being far far too geeky... But I don't think I've ever been to a con.. and I guarantee I'd only be caught dressing up for one in like a Stormtrooper outfit.. or something with a full face helmet so you couldn't tell who I was haha. Image IPB

Yeah, I did coverage of Comic Con.  Drove from Phoenix by myself.  Did the coverage, got fired on the way back after I turned in my work.  It was a lovely little text message.

AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH! *deep breath* AHHHHHHHHHHHHNNNNNOOOOOOOOOOOOO!

*Coughs and wheezes for 10 minutes*

OK, thanks a lot for that idea. I haven't screamed so much since I watched Alien followed by Aliens late at night, and then woke up at 4am to see the poster for Alien 3 on the wall.

..Hey, being able to order citadel kid in to take fire for you from an entire squad of cerberus troops would be kinda poetic when you think about it.

Liara: Aren't we going to help the kid?
Shepard: Not yet.  I'm still getting over the ending.

I did the research.  Holy cow!  The requirements and addendums to said requirements.  Plus various sundry things.  It boggles the mind.  And  that's coming from an American citizen by proxy.

@Nevara - I have to chuckle at you not being able to get into the country. Sorry. The story of you getting fired by text is sad though. ********!

@firstarioch - I love living here, I just wish our geek culture was as big as it is over in America. Also following my favourite ice hockey team is a pain in the butt thanks to them being Canadian.

I'm also a bit on edge because I'm trying to write about IGN/Kotaku/et al and their epic fails of journalism without hitting the berserk button. 'Tis hard.

I've never been to any convention either.

Rather work for sci-fi myself.

I got a group of three other students I work with, to build a very simple, stationary "exoskeleton-arm". Merely an elbow that can spin around one axis.
We got the electrics and controls so far, so the motor moves in regard of how much force you put on the sensors, but the mechanical structure is still in the making.
Went a bit over the line though..,we had found a motor that fits into our budget, but now that thing got so much power it might smash skulls if we aren't careful.

Damn...I did it again...I over-nerded.

It would be more like Shepard and team is under heavy fire by Cerberus troops...outnumbered 10 to 1 things look grim as the enemy starts to advance...Then Star Child appears! Gunfire comes to a stop as all combatants turn and look at the nemesis of humanity. A long breathless pause ensues...Shepard glances over at the Cerberus commander...a slight nod of the head as both sides come to an understanding...in silence all guns move to target the child and all hell is unleashed....
